Bondara is one of our go-to websites for sex toys. However, I’ve never bought Bondara lingerie before, unsure what the size and quality is like. Well, now I’ve bought some, so if you have similar concerns about Bondara lingerie sizing and quality, I’m here to answer them for you!
Sexy lingerie is always a tricky thing to buy confidently online.
Even if you’re a perfect size ten (and I’m not – I’m around a size 12-14 depending on the shop) it’s not always easy to decide what size to go for. Sending things back is such a chore so quite often I’m left with a basket full of things that I want to try on, which never makes it to the checkout.

Sometimes the difference between what you think you’re buying and what you end up receiving are nothing like what the pictures show. I’m ashamed to say that I’ve been caught before by shady Chinese knock offs which looked great in the pictures, but are absolutely tiny, shoddily made and laughably shit in reality. Damn those Facebook ads!
The one thing I’ve noticed with some decent sex toy sites like Lovehoney and Bondara which also sell lingerie and dress up clothes, is that although sets look BANGING on the model, when you click through to the page they’re ‘one size fits all’.
That can’t possibly be good quality, can it?!
Bondara Flirt Lingerie – How Does It Fit?
I was looking for some sexy lingerie to to wear for Christmas day when I spied a two piece red lingerie set from Bondara Flirt which looked nice and festive. It was priced £29.99 and there was a free reindeer vibrator with it. I was drawn in by the freebie, I won’t lie.

The Red Alert lingerie set is available in sizes S/M and L/XL. Although as a very average sized woman I do object to buying something labelled ‘XL’. Upon researching it seemed that the S/M is more of a size 6-10, with L-XL covering sizes 12-16. This set does not come in a plus size option unfortunately.
This nearly put me off – how can a garment possibly fit three whole dress sizes? – but we’d had a glass of wine and threw caution to the wind.
What do you get for your money?
In the box is the camisole, a g-string and some adjustable garter straps.

Quality of Bondara Lingerie
The Bondara Lingerie looks on the website like it’s made of decent, thick and/or lined material.

This turned out to be very much not the case. The cups are just a single piece of stretchy lace. They are entirely see through, with absolutely no padding in place at all. The front panel, too, is made from this stretchy lace and the back is primarily a mesh material. The rest is made from a thin, stretchy fabric.
This really is underwear to wear when you’re having sex; it’s not going to provide any kind of support or coverage. It isn’t underwear; it’s cheap and meant to be ripped off, I suspect.

I would show you what it looks like on, but there’s a lot of nipple there.
The g-string feels quite badly made and I suspect it won’t last a particularly long time.

At £30 with a freebie thrown in, it’s cheap compared to something you’d buy from Ann Summers or Pour Moi, so I wasn’t expecting the world, but maybe a bit more material than that!
Bondara Lingerie Sizing

I was actually surprised at the fit; if anything, this Bondara lingerie set was on the large side. There are three rows of bra-strap style clips on the back and even at the tightest setting it wasn’t tight. As a size 12, in future I’d probably want to buy a S/M and have it on the larger setting, although god knows where my boobs would go as there isn’t a lot of space in the cups, even though they’re stretchy!
The bra straps are fully adjustable so it really will fit a range of sizes. The g-string, surprisingly, isn’t adjustable but despite being quite crudely made and cheap-feeling, it did fit well!
Summary of Bondara Lingerie Size & Quality

- The Red Alert Bondara Flirt Lingerie set might not hide your nipples, but it is admittedly pretty sexy. Jack enjoyed the selfies I sent while wearing it and I’m sure he’ll enjoy it even more in person come Christmas day.
- Based on this purchase, I’d say that Bondara Lingerie sizing is OK; a little on the big side if you are expecting it to fit a size 12. I’d say for a size 14-16, it’s quite good for a ‘one size fits all’ set!
- It’s cheap. Both to buy (a full set of decent lingerie would set you back a lot more than £30 with a vibrator thrown in) and, sadly, to look at. It’s clearly made in a factory in China, and doesn’t meet quality standards you’d expect of the rest of Bondara’s website stock i.e. sex toys. But if you buy it to wear for someone, I doubt they’re going to be looking that closely.
- You can, most probably, get a very similar set from elsewhere on the internet for less. I couldn’t find an exact match, however this set is from Amazon, and costs around half the price. It’s also available in a variety of colours.
- If you have a little more to spend, and not even that much more, something like this Cottelli basque set from Lovehoney gives a lot more support and will last longer. It also comes in a range of sizes up to a UK 22.
