When you meet someone, be it for business or pleasure, there’s a good chance you’ll shake their hand. And if you do, and if they’re a male past a certain age, there’s a very high chance you’ll be shaking their wanking hand. For ever since the beginning of time, men have been masturbators. In fact God only created Eve because he was sick of Adam making the place all sticky, but that didn’t stop him, and nothing has since.
Let’s Face it: We’re all Wankers
I’m no exception; be it my teenage years, times when I was single, a few years in a sex-less marriage, times when I can’t be with my partner, or just when I’m a bit bored. I’m almost a pro.

What are Male Masturbators?
For those who want some variety, or something that feels more like actual sex, there are a whole variety of toys to give you a much more pleasurable feeling without having to destroy Mom’s freshest apple pie. The Arcwave Pow is one such premium male masturbator designed to improve the sensation compared to using your hand alone.

Arcwave Pow Review: Using the Toy
I’ve talked about my experience with a single use Tenga Egg which was OK but unfortunately lacking, somehow. For something more satisfying I decided to try the Arcwave Pow Silicone Dual-Entrance Suction Control Male Masturbator.

The toy itself has a very premium feel, consisting of a cover cap (which makes the whole thing look and feel rather like a camera lens), an outer shell, and inner sleeve. It comes apart and goes back together fairly easily, and the sleeve can be turned around depending on whether you need the smaller or larger opening.
It certainly doesn’t have the labial lips or ‘realism’ of some of the alternative Fleshlight models, or a torso doll like the Tantaly Britney 2.0, but it’s definitely going to raise less suspicion with your cleaner or the guy at border control.
It’s also made from silicone rather than TPE like many strokers, so keeping it clean and sanitary isn’t such a huge issue – you can rinse, dry and pop back in a drawer rather than having to air dry it for hours on the bathroom windowsill when friends might pop in.
How to Use The Arcwave Pow Male Masturbator

To use it, you squirt in a good amount of water-based lube and, for want of a better phrase, stick your dick in it. Which feels nice. The sleeve is snug, bumpy, and nicely slippery from the lube. It’s not like sex (it’s cold for a start but I wouldn’t recommend microwaving it in case you burn your penis), but it’s much much nicer than using your hand.
You then stroke the toy up and down (hence them often being called strokers) and the rest is up to you.
Arcwave Pow ‘Suction Mode’
One feature of this toy they make a big selling point of is the suction feature. In short there’s an opening flap at the far end which lets air out but not in, so when you pull it away from you, it’s meant to feel like it’s sucking. I didn’t notice anything, or any difference when I opened the flap, but it was still a very nice feeling.
The other thing to note is that if you’re 8″ long you’ll tap the end and see your tip popping out of the flap, any longer I guess you’ll feel it more if you get carried away.

To clean it, you can either just wash it out, or take the body safe silicone sleeve out for a full clean in the dishwasher, neither of which are hard work.
Thoughts on the Arcwave POW Male Masturbator
In short, this was a really nice, discreet male masturbator. The Arcwave Pow experience is a step up on a normal wank and very pleasurable, but not something that would fool you into thinking you were having sex in any kind of blind testing. If that’s a thing you were planning on doing.
Compared to disposable toys like the Tenga Egg, the Arcwave Pow feels far more premium and durable. Compared to masturbators like the Fleshlight Masterstroke, it will probably last longer, due to the silicone sleeve.
It won’t do the work for you like the Autoblow AI Ultra, or immerse you with realism like a Tantaly sex doll, but it will make you orgasm and feel nice doing it.
