There are a lot of male masturbators on the market right now. We’ve tested everything from sub-£50 manual strokers to a £300 automatic blowjob machine, but wanted to explore the middle ground a bit more. Specifically: toys that add extra features like vibration, suction and automated squeezing without venturing fully into ‘small household appliance designed to milk your penis’ territory.

So we got our hands on a bunch of mid-range options to compare properly: this Blowmotion Suction Vibrating Male Masturbator 2.0, the Blowmotion Warming Vibrating Male Masturbator, Arcwave Zing and Arcwave Orbit rotating masturbator.

Blowmotion Suction Vibrating Male Masturbator 2.0 Review - next to Arcwave Zing and Blowmotion Warming Vibrating Male Masturbator

The idea sounded promising; something more immersive and stimulating than a standard sleeve, but without spending several hundred pounds on a full-blown automated sex machine (this toy has a full RRP of £134.99/$149.99).

In practice? The results were… mixed.

First Impressions Of This Blowmotion Vibrating Masturbator

Let’s just get this out of the way immediately: the Blowmotion Suction Vibrating Male Masturbator 2.0 looks uncannily like a bowling pin. If you’ve ever had a traumatic experience at a bowling alley, this could definitely bring on flashbacks; it’s roughly the same size, vaguely the same shape and noticeably heavier than a standard manual stroker.

First Impressions Of This Blowmotion Vibrating Masturbator

To its credit though, it does feel more substantial and premium than manual strokers; the chunky outer shell gives it a more high-tech feel straight away.

On paper, the feature list sounds genuinely promising too. You get:

  • Vibration modes
  • Suction functions
  • Automated squeeze/contraction settings
  • A removable internal sleeve
  • Rechargeable operation

The problem is that the real-world experience feels a little less polished than the marketing suggests.

This is one of those toys where expectations matter quite a lot. If you are hoping for an effortless automated replacement for manual masturbation, you may end up disappointed. If you approach it more as an experimental gadget designed for slower, passive sessions, you may get on with it much better.

Noise Levels & Ease Of Use

Controls on the Blowmotion Vibrating Masturbator 2.0

The overall noise levels were fairly reasonable. Not as loud as the Autoblow, but obviously much louder than a manual masturbator.

Most settings were quiet enough not to be overly distracting, although one of the suction modes creates a very recognisable air-pressure sound that anyone familiar with automatic masturbators would immediately identify.

The cap itself is surprisingly difficult to remove, even with dry hands. This becomes particularly annoying if you accidentally apply lube before removing it, because getting a grip on the cap afterwards becomes much harder. Pro tip: remove the cap before lubing up.

The controls, however, could definitely be improved. The toy also feels slightly unintuitive at times. Between the squeeze settings, vibration controls and uncertainty around how much movement the toy is designed for, there is definitely a learning curve here.

What About The Fit, Comfort & Sizing?

Blowmotion Suction Vibrating Male Masturbator 2.0 Review

This ended up being the most divisive part of the experience. The toy itself is physically quite large, so you expect plenty of internal space. This doesn’t feel like the case. If you’re well endowed, it might be more tricky to use.

During use it felt strangely unclear whether the sleeve had actually been reached fully or whether there was still additional room inside. There were multiple moments where it genuinely felt like there should have been more depth available, yet the sleeve simply would not allow any further insertion, which does create a slightly awkward and distracting experience if you prefer the feeling of being fully enclosed inside a sleeve.

Importantly, the stimulation points are positioned towards the end and middle of the toy, so full insertion is not necessarily required for the functions to work properly. However, psychologically it still felt slightly odd not knowing whether the toy was being used correctly.

At the same time, it was not uncomfortable. The sleeve itself felt fairly pleasant overall and did not feel painfully tight during normal use. The real issue came from the ‘squeeze’ mode.

Suction & Squeeze Performance

These are the suction pads in the Blowmotion Suction Vibrating Male Masturbator

The suction and contraction system is probably the most unique part of the Blowmotion experience, but also – to my mind – the most frustrating.

When the automatic squeeze mode activates, the toy contracts around the shaft as intended. Mechanically, it works. The problem is that the contractions often end up pushing you back out of the sleeve slightly, which creates a surprisingly distracting ‘fight’ to stay comfortably inside the toy and rather than enhancing immersion, the squeeze feature sometimes interrupts it.

This also makes it difficult to combine with thrusting motions. Once the contraction settings are active, moving naturally in and out of the sleeve becomes awkward, which leaves you wondering whether the toy is designed to be used completely hands-free and stationary.

That uncertainty slightly hurts the experience overall. Good toy design should feel intuitive, whereas this occasionally felt like it required trial and error to figure out the ‘correct’ method of use.

The suction effects themselves were mixed. Some pressure changes felt pleasant, while others mostly created additional vacuum sensations without dramatically increasing enjoyment.

Blowmotion Vibration Functions

Blowmotion Suction Vibrating Male Masturbator 2.0 in hand

The vibration function, powered by a small egg-style vibrator tucked into a pocket at the top of the sleeve, is perfectly decent, but not especially mind-blowing, For most of the session, the vibrations felt more like a constant buzzing sensation rather than something particularly immersive or intense. There are different modes, but they did not massively change the overall experience.

Orgasms With The Blowmotion Suction Vibrating Male Masturbator 2.0

That all said, when it arrived, the orgasm itself was surprisingly strong.

While the build-up felt slower and less efficient than manual masturbation or a traditional stroker like a Fleshlight, the climax ended up being extremely powerful once things finally came together.

The prolonged stimulation after orgasm was particularly impressive and easily one of the strongest positives of the toy overall.

So while the journey occasionally felt awkward, the ending genuinely delivered.

Cleaning & Maintenance

The inner sleeve of the blowmotion masturbator

Always my least favourite part of the experience, thankfully, cleanup is relatively straightforward.

The removable sleeve – which is made from body-safe silicone, rather than the TPE that makes some strokers and sex dolls tricky to clean – makes washing easier than some fully enclosed automatic masturbators, and overall maintenance felt less annoying than expected given the size of the toy.

Drying time will naturally depend on how thoroughly you clean the sleeve, but nothing here felt unusually difficult.

How It Compares To A Fleshlight/Manual Stroker

Fleshlight v Blowmotion masturbator

This is probably the comparison many people will actually care about. Is it worth shelling out the extra for the extra functions?

Unfortunately not, in our humble opinion. For us, despite the price and the extra features, even a fairly budget Fleshlight like the Masterstroke, or Tenga Flip manual masturbator still wins overall for ease of use and overall enjoyment, with better friction, more control and a more natural feeling experience overall.

The Blowmotion works best when treated as a slower, more passive toy designed for extended stimulation rather than pure efficiency. Not one for a quickie during your lunchbreak, then.

If you enjoy actively controlling pressure, rhythm and movement yourself, you may still prefer a traditional stroker.

That said, the Blowmotion does offer something different, and the orgasm quality was genuinely impressive enough that we would absolutely use it again to see whether the experience improves further with familiarity.

How It Compares To A £300 Blowjob Machine

How does it compare to the Autoblow?

It’s not as good, reliable or enjoyable as the Autoblow AI Ultra masturbator machine, but for under half the price I wouldn’t expect it to be.

Who Will Enjoy This?

This toy will probably appeal most to:

  • Users who enjoy passive stimulation
  • People curious about automated squeeze functions
  • Those looking for stronger orgasm intensity rather than maximum friction
  • Users who enjoy edging or slower solo sessions

It may be less suitable for:

  • Users who prefer active thrusting
  • People wanting a Fleshlight-style experience
  • Anyone expecting instant mind-blowing stimulation from the first use
  • Larger users who prefer deep insertion and full enclosure

Final Verdict

Blowmotion Suction Vibrating Male Sex Toy review
With the Warming Male Masturbator, review pending.

The Blowmotion Suction Vibrating Male Masturbator 2.0 ended up being a more mixed experience than expected. There are genuinely good ideas here. The build quality is decent, the orgasm quality can be extremely strong, it’s easy to clean up and the toy genuinely offers something different from a standard manual stroker.

At the same time, some of the core mechanics feel awkward in practice. The squeeze mode can become distracting, the fit may feel limiting for some users, and the overall experience occasionally feels less intuitive than it probably should.

This is not a terrible toy by any means, but it is also not the instant game-changing experience the marketing suggests.

With more use, familiarity and experimentation, this may well become a stronger 4/5 product. Right now, though, it sits closer to a solid but imperfect 3/5.
