When it comes to app-controlled love eggs, it’s difficult not to immediately compare everything to the Lovense Lush 4. Lovense has become one of the biggest names in long-distance and wearable sex tech, largely because the app ecosystem is so reliable.
So when the lovely folks at Buzzy.co.uk sent over the Magic Motion Vini, I was curious to see where it sat in comparison.

Was this another cheap wearable egg with a half-functional app and a vibration motor that sounds like an electric toothbrush trapped in a saucepan, or could it actually compete surprisingly well for the price?
After testing the Vini side-by-side with the Lovense toy, I actually came away more impressed than I expected.
What Is The Magic Motion Vini?

The Magic Motion Vini is an app-controlled wearable love egg designed for solo use, long-distance relationships and remote partner play.
Like most modern wearable vibrators, it promises discreet public teasing, app connectivity, music sync features and hands-free internal stimulation. In reality, though, I think this toy is much better suited to private use at home than it is to the fantasy of secretly vibrating your way through a Pret lunch queue while maintaining eye contact with a panini.
That said, the Vini actually surprised me quite a lot.
First Impressions Of The Magic Vini Vibrator

Visually, the Vini is fairly classic as far as love eggs go, albeit it is flatter and longer than the Lovense Lush 4. It has a smooth silicone and ABS plastic insertable body which is slightly curved and ‘tongue shaped’, and a flexible tail for controlling it, retrieval and positioning.
It feels nicely made for the price too. Not ultra-premium luxury in the way LELO and Lovense toys tend to feel, but equally not suspicious Amazon mystery silicone that arrives in a cardboard box smelling faintly of tyre fire.
I also enjoy the feeling of wearing a love egg internally anyway, and the Vini is comfortable enough to wear once positioned properly without being uncomfortable or even noticeable when not vibrating.
As with basically every wearable toy ever created, though, positioning matters enormously. If it sits correctly for your anatomy, great. If not, you may find yourself subtly shifting around trying to reposition it while pretending to behave like a normal member of society.
The Magic Motion App
One thing I immediately appreciated is that the Magic Motion app is straightforward to set up and connect and doesn’t require an email address or account creation just to use the toy, which already puts it ahead of a surprising number of app-controlled sex toys.

I would describe it as OK. The interface itself is fairly clean and easy to navigate, although the app insistently opening on the Music section by default every single time quickly becomes irritating, particularly as the only audio files on my phone are old voice notes no one is getting off to.
Personally, I found the ‘Free Control’ mode much more useful because it allows proper manual intensity adjustment and finer control over the vibration strength. As soon as you leave each mode, the device stops – even if you’re still in the app. But for basic connectivity and control, it’s fine.
The app also includes:
- Music sync
- Games, including ‘Drums’ mode, which lets you tap rhythms on your screen and ‘Bubble Bath’ remote interaction mode, and motion control
- Kegel training exercises
- Long-distance partner control (remote control) – invite your partner with a room code.

Some of these are more useful than others.
The partner control is easy to set up, but a bit lacking. You send a code, they access the code… And then they can control your toy. On the positive side, your partner doesn’t need an account, and the controls are very responsive. If you’re in the same room and they can see physical feedback, then it may work well.
However, the toy disconnects if you leave the app for any reason – to send a picture from your gallery for instance – and there is no integrated video chat so I would not necessarily recommend it for long distance play as there isn’t a reliable way to deliver or get feedback on the app.
Additionally, all your messages disappear once the chat is closed – which may be a good or a bad thing, depending on your viewpoint.
It’s nowhere near as advanced or polished as the ecosystem offered by Lovense Lush 4, but it’s OK.
Vibration Strength And Performance

For a relatively compact wearable egg, the maximum intensity is very strong. The Vini actually has proper power behind it once you turn it up.
The vibrations are more buzzy than deeply rumbly, but internally they still produce a very satisfying sensation. Paired with your favourite clitoral suction toy, this can absolutely produce a very powerful blended orgasm.
One thing worth mentioning, though, is that the toy itself doesn’t really offer very soft, subtle low settings unless you’re controlling it through the app. Using the app gives you much finer control over intensity and allows quieter, gentler play that’s much more manageable.
Is The Magic Motion Vini For Public Sex Play?

Despite the marketing, I personally would not recommend the Vini as a serious public play sex toy.
Physically, the toy itself is discreet, and at lower settings and in noisy environments you might get away with it, but personally I’d say anything above about 50% intensity in the app becomes too loud for public use unless you’re somewhere already very loud, like a nightclub, concert or packed event. In a restaurant, café or quiet public setting? Absolutely not.
The Vini’s motor has a slightly buzzier sound profile than some premium wearable competitors like the Lush, the We-Vibe Chorus and the LELO Tiani Twist, and the noise travels more easily than I’d personally feel comfortable with.
For me, the Vini works much better as a long-distance or at-home app-controlled toy than a public play device, and I think that’s perfectly fine.
I’ll also say this very clearly because apparently some people need reminding: public play should remain private between the consenting adults involved. Nobody around you should know what’s happening. If the appeal for you is specifically exposing unwilling strangers to your kink or involving members of the public without consent, then frankly that’s not edgy or sexy, it’s just gross and potentially illegal.
If exhibitionism or being openly discovered is your thing, there are consensual spaces for that, whether that’s sex clubs, kink events or private communities where everyone present has knowingly opted in. I’ll get off my soapbox now.
The Magic Motion Vini vs Lovense Lush 4

After testing both side-by-side, I actually think the Vini compares surprisingly well against the Lovense Lush 4 in terms of pure internal stimulation and vibration strength.
In terms of shape, they’re quite different; the Lovense Lush 4 has an egg shaped vibrator, whereas the Vini is more tongue shaped and thinner, but both can be felt when in and stay in place well. The Lush 4 feels slightly rumblier and is therefore a little less obviously noisy, even though the overall strength feels surprisingly similar between the two.
The Lovense still wins overall for me because:
- The app ecosystem is more polished
- The vibrations are slightly rumblier
- It’s quieter at higher intensities
- The long-distance features feel more mature
However, the Vini absolutely holds its own considering the price difference; at £62.99 the Vini is less than half the price of the £149.99 Lush. If you mainly want a strong app-controlled love egg for home use and long-distance play, I think the Vini offers very decent value.

Is The Magic Motion Vini Internal Vibrator Worth Buying?

The Magic Motion Vini ended up surprising me quite a lot.
It’s powerful, comfortable, straightforward to set up and backed by an app that, while slightly gimmicky in places, is perfectly functional.
No, I don’t think it replaces Lovense, but I also don’t think it embarrasses itself either, which feels like quite an achievement considering the difference in brand recognition and pricing.
This feels like a solid, genuinely enjoyable wearable egg for private use, long-distance relationships and blended stimulation at home.
