Monster Pub is one of those sex toy brands I probably would have scrolled past if they hadn’t contacted me.
On first glance, the website is a little… chaotic. The product names are confusing. Some toys appear to have different names depending on whether you’re looking at the box, the website or the app. For instance the Monster Hulu which we reviewed is also known as the Gourd, and the Duo appears on the Monster Party app as Master Godkilla, and on the website as the Gokilla (nope, no idea).
So, naturally, I had questions. Is Monster Pub legit? Are the toys any good? Is this another random dropshipping brand with pretty packaging and baffling instructions? Or is there actually something more interesting going on?
Yes, Monster Pub is legit. I tested four Monster Pub sex toys and they all arrived, charged, connected to the Monster Party app and worked. However, the brand feels less polished than bigger names like LELO, We-Vibe or Womanizer, with inconsistent product names, different chargers and some ‘lost in translation’ weirdness on the website.

Monster Pub is a real sex toy brand who make and sell their own toys. The toys exist, they arrive nicely packaged in foil bags which makes it feel very much like a whole unboxing experience. They charge, they work, the app connects, and some of them are genuinely decent and I would recommend them.
Here’s how I got on.

What Is Monster Pub?
Monster Pub is a Chinese sex toy brand making app-controlled vibrators, clitoral suction toys, wearable toys and other small, techy sex toys.
Their toys are generally cute, colourful and quite playful. A few of them feel very similar to more familiar brands like Biird, especially when it comes to soft colours, rounded shapes and ‘not terrifying to leave on your bedside table’ design.
The toys connect through the Monster Party app, which allows app-based control and, depending on the toy, different vibration, suction or thrusting patterns. You can control two toys at a time from one app.
OK, Monster Pub is not the most polished brand I’ve tested. The toys can be interesting, but the naming, charging systems, app labels and practical features are all a bit inconsistent.

Is Monster Pub Legit?
Yes, Monster Pub appears to be a legitimate sex toy brand that appears to make and sell their own sex toys. The toys I tested were of good quality and did work.
The products arrived within the estimated timeframe, had fun, playful packaging, connected to the app, charged, switched on and did what they were supposed to do. Some of them were better than expected.
The short version is:
Monster Pub is legit, but I wouldn’t put them in the same polished, premium category as LELO, We-Vibe or Womanizer. They’re also not as expensive, as long as you disregard the overinflated RRPs. I definitely wouldn’t dismiss them as total nonsense. They sit somewhere in the middle: interesting ideas, cute designs, working app control, but with occasional design choices that made me stare into the distance and wonder why every toy needed a different charger.
Pros | Cons |
Cute packaging | Chaotic naming |
Cute designs | Inconsistent chargers |
App control works | Not all toys have travel locks |
Interesting stimulation styles | App labels can be confusing |
Some toys are great! | Some fit issues |
Lower price than premium brands | Not as polished as premium brands |

1. Monster Pub Hulu Review

The Monster Pub Hulu is the easiest toy in this range for me to recommend. You can read a full review of the Monster Hulu here.
In brief, it’s a tiny app-controlled clitoral suction toy, and it feels like the most practical, polished and usable of the Monster Pub toys I tested. It’s small, quiet, cute and it does the job it’s designed to do.
The Hulu charges by USB-C, which immediately gives it points because I am tired of new random magnetic chargers, pin chargers and little plastic charging docks.
It also has a travel lock and adjustable light settings, which makes it feel more thought-through than some of the other Monster Pub toys.

In use, the Hulu is not the most powerful clitoral suction toy in the world. If you’re used to something like the LELO SONA 3, Womanizer Next or a stronger air pulse toy, the Hulu may feel gentler. But that’s not necessarily a bad thing. It’s small, discreet, beginner-friendly, travel-friendly and much quieter than some suction toys.
For me, the Hulu is the winner because it is the one I’d actually take away with me. It’s practical. It’s simple. It doesn’t require a weird charging base. It doesn’t sound like it’s trying to tunnel through the bedside table.
2. Monster Pub Kiss Review

The Monster Pub Kiss is the cutest toy of the bunch. All together now…. ‘Awww’.
It has a little mouth with a light inside it, and inside that mouth is a tiny tongue that vibrates quickly. It’s very Biird-coded aesthetically: soft, rounded, playful and not immediately terrifying.
It combines suction, vibration and that fast little tongue sensation, so it feels more aggressive and intense than the Hulu. I quite like it. The tongue does not feel like realistic oral sex, because most ‘oral sex simulator‘ toys are lying, but it does add a focused, fluttery sensation that makes the toy feel more interesting than a basic suction toy.
The Kiss is also slightly larger than the Hulu, louder, and more aggressive. That may be a good thing if you want stronger stimulation, but it does make it less discreet.
The practical design is where the Kiss loses points. Unlike the Hulu, it does not have USB-C charging. Instead, it uses a small sit-on charging base, which works, but is another thing to store, lose or break as it seems pretty flimsy.
It also does not have a travel lock, and you can’t turn the mouth light up or down like you can with the Hulu.

I’m also not wild about the button. It sits flush to the base, which looks neat, but there is no depression or satisfying click which makes it hard to tell whether you’ve actually pressed it. During use, that’s annoying. Nobody wants to stop mid-session to inspect the bottom of a glowing mouth toy.
Overall, the Monster Pub Kiss is fun, cute and surprisingly effective, but less polished than the Hulu.

3. Monster Pub Pop Review
The Monster Pub Pop is harder to categorise neatly, but it is basically a dual stimulation toy combining an internal thrusting arm and an external clitoral stimulator arm. The external arm has a light up control panel and the stimulator has a removable cap so you can have either a suction or tapping stimulation.

It’s one of the more unusual toys in the range, and it has more going on than a straightforward clit sucker or vibrator. It feels more niche than the Hulu or Kiss, but it was better than I expected.
The internal stimulation was the main thing that stood out to me. It actually felt noticeable and effective, rather than just being another wearable toy that promises a lot and then vaguely buzzes somewhere unhelpful. It moved about; not just vibrated. The external stimulation wasn’t really enough to push me over the edge, although I suspect with time and patience you’d be able to orgasm with the toy, particularly if you’re sensitive or like internal stimulation.
It also has a travel lock, which I appreciate. However the charging cable is a magnetic one, which I’ll add to my ever-growing pile.

The Pop is not the first Monster Pub toy I’d recommend to most people but if you like internal stimulation, it’s worth considering for something a bit different, and remotely controllable.
As far as comparable dual stimulation toys go, wouldn’t necessarily pick the Monster Pop toy over the LELO INA thrusting dual stimulator (which has a similar ‘thrusting’ feel) or the LELO ENIGMA Double Sonic (which combines suction and internal stimulation). However, for the price it is a decent toy, just a little light on clitoral stimulation for my personal tastes.

4. Monster Pub Duo / Master Godkilla Review
The Monster Pub Duo is also known as Master Godkilla in the Monster Party app, which is possibly the best and worst sex toy name I have ever seen. Sadly, the experience itself did not quite live up to the apocalyptic promise.

This is a dual-stimulation wearable-style toy with two motors. In theory, it should stimulate internally and externally at the same time – although the fit was iffy. It’s also heated, which is mentioned precisely once on the website and came as a bit of a shock! It promises that it can be used as a sex toy and for kegel training (although I could not find this mode to activate it).
For the external arm to make proper contact with my clitoris, I had to leave quite a lot of the internal section outside my body. That made it feel insecure and not especially wearable. But when I inserted it securely, the external arm didn’t sit where I needed it to. It buzzed ineffectually against my upper pubic area instead, which is not generally the location I am trying to bring to climax.

The app controls were also confusing because the two motors were labelled the wrong way around.
This one also uses a pin charger and does not have a travel lock, so it loses practical points too.
The Duo/Godkilla is my least favourite of the Monster Pub toys I tested. It looks like it should be a clever wearable dual stimulation-style vibrator in the style of the We-Vibe Chorus, but I could not get it to work like that, and the vibrations from the clitoral arm were fairly weak anyway.
If you disregard the external arm entirely, it’s more like a Lovense Lush 4 or Magic Motion Vini style remote-controllable vibrating love egg, but heated. It’s not unpleasant, but for my body, the fit just didn’t work and I would be reluctant to spend $99 on this product.

Monster Pub App Review
The Monster Pub toys use the Monster Party app, which I’ve talked about more in the Monster Hulu Review.
The app worked for local control, but it is not the slickest app-controlled sex toy experience I’ve ever had. It connects and controls the toys, which is the important bit, but the naming and labelling can be confusing.
The Duo showing up as Master Godkilla is funny, obviously, but it is slightly confusing. If the product name on the website, the box and the app don’t quite match, the whole experience feels less polished and more ‘white label’ – it reminds me of the awful Joylume Bobo Boa/Venus app, although fortunately it wasn’t quite that bad.
I also found the motor controls could be clearer on the dual-motor toys. With something like the Hulu, this matters less because the toy is simple. With toys that have multiple motors and more complicated stimulation, clear app controls make a big difference.
The free remote mode is also very odd. It was hard to add each other as the links didn’t work, and it had to be done via the friend page using each other’s user numbers (not names). We got there eventually and it was downhill from there to be honest! You can’t just type normal messages to each other. Instead, the app auto-sends ‘sexy’ messages in broken Engrish and all you can do is respond with weird emojis.

If you want video chat, the app prompts you to pay using ‘candies’, with video chat costing 10 candies per minute. I did not test this because, frankly, I have no desire to pay mystery sex toy app currency just to video call my partner (who was sat next to me in bed).
This makes the long-distance side feel much less polished than Lovense and some other app-controlled sex toys. With Lovense, long-distance control feels like a proper part of the ecosystem. With Monster Party, it feels like the toy control works, but the social/partner side has been awkwardly bolted on with weird preset sexy phrases, emojis and in-app currency.
So yes, remote control is possible. We did get it working eventually. But it was not intuitive, the invite link didn’t work for us, we had to add each other by user number, there is no proper free chat function, and the video chat is locked behind a pay-per-minute ‘candies’ system.
Let’s Talk About The Charging Situation

One of my biggest complaints about the Monster Pub toys is that they do not all use the same charging system. This has been a gripe of mine in the past where a collection of toys all charge differently
The Hulu uses USB-C, which is by far my favourite. It’s convenient, modern and easy to replace.
The Kiss uses a little sit-on charging base, the Duo/Godkilla uses a pin charger and the Pop has a magnetic charger.
This is annoying. I don’t want a separate charging ecosystem for every tiny pastel sex goblin that enters my home. I want USB-C wherever possible, or at the very least some consistency across the same brand (and, ideally a branded charger) like you get with Womanizer, Lelo or We-Vibe
It doesn’t make the toys unusable or bad but it does make the brand feel less polished.
Which Monster Pub Sex Toy Is Best?
For me, the best Monster Pub toy is the Monster Pub Hulu.
It is the smallest, quietest and most practical. It has USB-C charging, a travel lock, adjustable lights and a simple design that works well. It’s a great toy, and one I’ll definitely be keeping.

The Monster Pub Kiss is the most fun and visually cute. I like the little vibrating tongue and light-up mouth, but it’s louder, more aggressive and less convenient than the Hulu.
The Monster Pub Pop was better than expected and has some effective internal stimulation, but it feels more niche.
The Monster Pub Duo/Godkilla is my least favourite because the fit did not work for me, and I didn’t feel the vibrations were as strong as other love eggs
Are Monster Pub Toys Worth Buying?
Monster Pub is a legitimate sex toy brand that is worth considering if you like cute, app-controlled sex toys and you can overlook things like matching charging cables and a slightly strange website.
I would not recommend every Monster Pub toy equally. The Hulu is the one I’d be most likely to suggest. The Kiss is worth considering if you like stronger, more aggressive clitoral stimulation and want something playful. The Pop may suit people looking for something a bit different. The Duo/Godkilla would not be my first choice.
This is a brand with interesting ideas, but not perfect execution.

Final Verdict: Is Monster Pub Legit?
Yes, Monster Pub is legit.
The toys are real, the app works locally, and some of the products are genuinely good.
My main complaints are the chaotic product naming, inconsistent chargers, lack of travel locks on some toys, confusing app labels, long distance app control being baffling and occasional fit issues.
My main positives are the cute designs, the fun playful packaging, app control, interesting stimulation styles and the fact that the best toys in the range are actually enjoyable.
Monster Pub is not the most polished sex toy brand I’ve tested, but it is more interesting than I expected. And honestly, in a world full of identical rose toys pretending to be revolutionary, I will take a weird glowing mouth toy and something called Master Godkilla over yet another generic suction flower any day.

Yes. Monster Pub is a legitimate sex toy brand, and the toys I tested arrived, charged, worked and connected to the app.
Monster Pub is a Chinese sex toy brand making app-controlled vibrators, clitoral suction toys and wearable sex toys.
Monster Pub toys use the Monster Party app.
Of the toys I tested, the Monster Pub Hulu was the best overall because it was small, quiet, USB-C rechargeable, travel-friendly and easy to use.
Based on the toys I tested, Monster Pub does not appear to be a simple white-label dropshipping retailer. However, the branding and naming are inconsistent enough that the overall experience can feel less polished than bigger premium brands.
Kind off. The app is pretty unpolished and there is no way to chat that we could find. Although toy control is possible, there’s a lot of functionality missing from the Monster Party app for long distance toy control.
