TENGA may be well known for their range of male masturbators including disposable Eggs and Flip sleeve series, but they also make very decent couples’ toys. The TENGA paiRING+ is a rechargeable vibrating cock ring designed for shared stimulation during sex. Worn around the penis, it has an elongated vibrating section that can press against the clitoris during penetration, which is exactly what I want from a couples’ cock ring. Happy days.
It has five vibration strengths, four vibration patterns, a soft stretchy silicone body, USB-C charging, waterproofing and a storage case that also works as a charging case.

It is also, according to TENGA, based on the old TENGA SVR design. I reviewed the TENGA SVR a few years ago and really liked it, so I was very interested to see whether the new TENGA paiRING+ was meaningfully different, or whether it was basically the same cock ring with a new name and a glow-up.
I no longer have the original SVR, so I cannot do a direct side-by-side comparison. However, TENGA describe the paiRING series as an evolution of the SVR, and that feels about right. It is not a completely new concept, which is fine because the old one was great, but it does feel like the newer, tidier, more polished version.

What Is The TENGA paiRING+ Vibrating Cock Ring?
The TENGA paiRING+ is a couples’ cock ring made from smooth, stretchy silicone. It is designed to sit around the penis, with the vibrating section facing upwards so it can stimulate the clitoris during penetrative sex.
A standard cock ring is usually worn to help maintain an erection by slowing the blood flow out of the penis. A vibrating cock ring does that too, but also adds vibrations for both partners.
The TENGA paiRING+ is not just a tiny bullet shoved on a stretchy ring, though. It has an elongated vibrating tip, which gives it a much better chance of actually making contact during sex. That matters, because a lot of vibrating cock rings sound great in theory but in practice just buzz vaguely somewhere in the pubic region while your clitoris remains entirely unimpressed.
This one is much better than that.
TENGA paiRING+ Key Features

The TENGA paiRING+ has:
- Five vibration strengths
- Four vibration patterns
- Soft, stretchy silicone
- Anti-dust coating
- USB-C charging
- Charging and storage case
- Waterproof IPX7 design
- Up to one hour of run time
- Slim, lightweight shape
- Elongated vibrating tip for shared stimulation
According to TENGA, the paiRING+ is 1.5x stronger than the standard paiRING and has one extra vibration pattern. I don’t have the original, so I’ll have to take their word for it – but if you like strong vibrations, it’s worth the extra tenner in my opinion!
TENGA paiRING+ Vs TENGA SVR

TENGA say that the paiRING series is based on the original SVR, which makes sense. The old TENGA SVR was a vibrating cock ring with a long vibrating section, designed to stimulate both partners during sex.
The paiRING+ looks like the newer version of that idea. Lovehoney still seem to sell both the older TENGA SVR and TENGA paiRING+, which is a bit confusing, but from what I can tell the paiRING+ is the refreshed, upgraded model.

The most obvious upgrades are the USB-C charging and the charging/storage case. I am deeply in favour of anything that means I do not have to play ‘which tiny magnetic charger belongs to which sex toy?’ every time I open the drawer.
The branding has also changed. TENGA are now leaning more into the ‘paired’ aspect, with the paiRING name focusing on couples, connection and shared pleasure (and NOT, thankfully, some Bluetooth app thingamy. I’ve had enough of that kind of thing this month). I do not know that I needed quite so much emotional closeness from a cock ring, personally, but the actual product is very good, so I will allow it.
If you already own and love the SVR, I don’t think this is an urgent upgrade unless you specifically want USB-C charging, the case or the stronger paiRING+ motor. But if you’re buying now, I’d choose the paiRING+.
First Impressions Of This Vibrating Cock Ring

The TENGA paiRING+ feels well made straight out of the box. It is small, smooth and flexible, and the silicone has a nice soft feel.
It comes in a neat charging case, which immediately makes it feel more premium and practical than a lot of vibrating cock rings. It also means it is easy to store cleanly, which is something I appreciate more and more the larger my ridiculous sex toy collection becomes.
It is compact enough to take away with you, and because it has its own case and uses USB-C, it is a very easy weekend-away toy. Small, useful, not ridiculously loud and not dependent on a weird proprietary cable. A rare joy.
How To Use The TENGA paiRING+
You use the TENGA paiRING+ by stretching it over the penis and positioning the vibrating section at the top, so it can press against the clitoris during sex.
Use plenty of water-based lube, especially when putting it on, and as with any cock ring, do not wear it for too long. If anything feels painful, numb or uncomfortable, take it off.
The controls are on the toy itself. It has one button to turn it on and cycle through the vibration settings. This is simple enough, although changing settings mid-sex will always be a little bit fiddly when the control is attached to someone’s penis. That is just the reality of the situation.
What Does The TENGA paiRING+ Feel Like?

As the person on the receiving end of the clitoral stimulation, I was impressed.
The TENGA paiRING+ actually makes contact during sex, including in missionary, which is where a lot of vibrating cock rings fall down. It is big enough and long enough to stay in contact rather than hovering uselessly nearby and hoping for the best.
That makes a huge difference. With some couples’ toys, you spend so much time adjusting angles and trying to make them work that they end up feeling more like a team-building exercise than sex. The paiRING+ is much easier. It sits where it needs to sit, and the vibrations are strong enough to be useful. You might want to occasionally guide it back into place with a hand but generally it does a very good job.
It is not just a decorative buzz. The vibrations are definitely enough to help you orgasm.
They are not as powerful as a wand, obviously, but the benefit is that the TENGA paiRING+ is far less intrusive than using a wand during sex. It does not get painfully wedged between your bodies, it does not force you to create a gap where you would rather have closeness, and it does not make sex feel like a logistical puzzle.

That is one of the biggest things I liked about it. You can still have close, intimate sex. You can be properly body-to-body in missionary and still get clitoral stimulation, which is not something I can say about many larger vibrators.
It also works very well in cowgirl, especially if you grind against it. That position gives you more control over pressure and angle, so if you need firmer contact, being on top is probably where you will get the most out of it.
Is The TENGA paiRING+ Comfortable For Couples?

Yes, for both of us. Hurrah!
From my side (on the receiving end) it is much more comfortable than trying to use a wand during sex. I love a powerful wand in the right context, but during missionary sex in particular they can be bulky, awkward and occasionally uncomfortable when trapped between two bodies.
The TENGA paiRING+ avoids that. It is slim enough that it does not get in the way, but big enough to keep contact with the clitoris. That is a very good balance.
Jack also said it was the best cock ring we have tried. His exact reasoning was that it was the most comfortable because of the slim profile and stretchiness. It did not feel bulky, tight or distracting.
That is important because a cock ring could be amazing for me, but if the person wearing it finds it annoying or uncomfortable, it is not going to get used again. This one passed the comfort test very easily.
How Loud Is The TENGA paiRING+?

The TENGA paiRING+ is pretty quiet. It is much quieter than the Lovense Domi 2, for example. Obviously that is not a totally fair comparison because the Domi 2 is a powerful wand and this is a compact cock ring, but it is still useful context if you are trying to work out whether this will be discreet enough for your situation.
During sex, I do not think the noise is going to be an issue for most people. You can hear it if you listen for it, but it is not distracting and it does not dominate the room.
What We Liked

The best thing about the TENGA paiRING+ is that it actually works during sex without making everything awkward.
It makes contact in missionary, it works well in cowgirl, and it gives enough vibration to help with orgasm. That is the entire point of a vibrating cock ring, but it is surprising how many do not manage it.
I also liked that it allows for close sex. You are not having to hold a large vibrator between you, rearrange your bodies around a toy, or sacrifice intimacy for stimulation. It adds something without taking over.
The slim profile is excellent. It is comfortable for the wearer, comfortable for the receiving partner, and easy to keep in place.
The charging case is also a big plus. It keeps the toy clean, protects it in storage, and makes it feel more travel-friendly. USB-C charging is a very welcome upgrade too.
It is also waterproof, so cleaning is easy and it can be used in the bath or shower.
What We Didn’t Like
The main downside is the price. With a full RRP of £89.99/$99.99, this is not a cheap cock ring, so you’ll want to be confident you’ll actually use it.
The one-button control is simple, but not perfect. If you want to change settings during sex, you have to press the button on the toy itself, which can be awkward depending on the position.
It is also still anatomy-dependent. It worked well for us and made contact even in missionary, but bodies vary. If your clitoris sits higher or lower, or your usual positions do not bring your bodies together in the same way, you may get different results.
And while the vibrations are good, they are not wand-level. If you need very intense, very direct clitoral stimulation every time, this may be more of a helpful addition than a guaranteed finish.

Is The TENGA paiRING+ Vibrating Cock Ring Worth It For Couples?
Yes, I think the TENGA paiRING+ is absolutely worth considering if you want a vibrating cock ring for shared stimulation.
It is one of the best cock rings we have tried because it gets the basics right. It is comfortable, stretchy, slim, quiet and strong enough to be useful. It does not feel like a gimmick and it does not get in the way of sex.
I especially like it for couples who want to add clitoral stimulation during penetrative sex without using a big wand or handheld vibrator. There is nothing wrong with those options, obviously, but sometimes you want to stay close and not feel like you are introducing a third party made of silicone and rechargeable rage.
The TENGA paiRING+ gives you the extra stimulation while still keeping things intimate. Choose this over a magic wand if you want something more intimate and less intrusive during penetrative sex. Choose a wand if you want maximum clitoral power and don’t mind holding it.

Final Verdict
The TENGA paiRING+ is a genuinely good vibrating cock ring and probably the best one we have tried so far.
It is slim, stretchy and comfortable for the wearer, while still being large enough to make proper contact with the clitoris during sex. The vibrations are strong enough to help with orgasm, but the toy is quiet and unobtrusive enough that it does not take over.
It works in missionary, it works brilliantly in cowgirl, and it lets you have close, intimate sex without trying to wedge a wand between your bodies.
The charging case and USB-C charging make it feel like a proper upgrade from the older SVR-style design, and if you are choosing between the old TENGA SVR and the newer TENGA paiRING+, I would go for the paiRING+.
A small but very effective couples’ toy, and a rare vibrating cock ring that actually does what I wanted it to do.
