If you spend more than five minutes researching long distance sex toys, eventually somebody will tell you to buy a Lovense sex toy, usually with the kind of conviction normally reserved for air fryers or robot vacuum cleaners.
The Lovense Lush range has somehow become the default recommendation for app-controlled sex toys, wearable vibrators, long distance couples, cam models, public play enthusiasts, and apparently anyone who enjoys syncing vibrations to music for reasons I still don’t fully understand.
Naturally, we had to try it.

So I got hold of a Lovense Lush 4 love egg from Lovehoney (RRP £149.99), downloaded the Lovense Remote app, connected the toy, handed over control, and prepared to discover whether this was genuinely revolutionary technology or just another overpriced vibrating egg with good marketing.
Surprisingly? It’s actually very good. Not perfect, but very good.
Quick Verdict

First Impressions & Design

The Lovense Lush 4 is essentially a wearable vibrating love egg with a flexible tail designed to sit comfortably inside your underwear – or even against your clit – while the bulb rests internally against the G-spot.
In photos, these toys always look tiny. In real life, the insertable part is actually chunkier than I expected, although still perfectly manageable and comfortable once in place.
The silicone is premium and smooth rather than plasticky or sticky in any way, and the flexible tail – which is where the buttons are situated and lights up to indicate the mode – helps keep it positioned more securely than some cheaper wearable vibes I’ve tried in the past.

It doesn’t feel medical or intimidating; it still feels like a sex toy.
The tail also sits relatively discreetly between the legs, meaning it’s not at all obvious under clothing (depending on what you’re wearing. Leggings remain a risky life choice) – so a definite contender for public sex play.
How Powerful Is The Lovense Lush 4?
Pretty powerful, I have to admit. The vibrations are deep and rumbly – which I think is my catchphrase for every triple-digit sex toy. We don’t do sharp and buzzy now, thank you, it’s 2026.
This matters because buzzy vibrations tend to numb me after a while, whereas deeper vibrations feel stronger without becoming irritating.
Internally, the Lush 4 has enough power to genuinely feel stimulating even while moving around, which is important because a lot of wearable toys completely lose impact the second you stand up.
You can also feel some of the vibrations externally, especially depending on positioning, which helps make it feel more intense overall rather than just vaguely vibrating somewhere in the general vicinity of your cervix.
Is it the strongest vibrator I’ve ever tried? Not it isn’t. A magic wand vibrator could probably sand furniture if given the opportunity. However, you can’t take them out and about with you in public. For a wearable toy designed for movement and remote control, the Lovense Lush 4 packs a punch, vibrations wise. You can’t miss it.

Can You Actually Wear It In Public?
Technically yes. Emotionally? That depends on your tolerance I guess.
The Lovense Lush 4 vibrating love egg is definitely one of the better toys I’ve tried for public play because:
- it stays in place reasonably well
- the connection remains stable
- it’s relatively quiet at lower settings
- the tail design helps prevent awkward shifting
I mean, if you’re walking around a supermarket on full power while somebody remotely controls it from another postcode, you may discover you suddenly have very strong opinions about self-checkout machines.
Noise-wise, it’s fairly discreet on lower settings, especially outdoors or in busy environments. In a silent waiting room or library, though? You are braver than I am.

It’s also much more comfortable sitting down than I expected. Some wearable vibrators feel uncomfortable. This one is flexible enough that it doesn’t become unbearable after ten minutes; you can wear it and almost forget about it, if it’s not vibrating.
Will It Make Me Orgasm?
I mean… probably not on its own. I have accepted that internal stimulation alone is largely reserved for God’s favourites, and even if you were among them, it would have to hit the right spot continually, which.. yea, it probably won’t happen I’m afraid. If you’ve seen cam girls orgasming from using the Lush 4, I will hold your hand gently while I explain to you that most p*rn is acting.
Orgasming isn’t really the point of the Lovense Lush 4 though.
What the Lovense Lush 4 does do incredibly well is build tension. It feels genuinely sexy and surprisingly intimate, especially if somebody else is controlling it. There’s something about not knowing exactly when the vibrations are coming that makes the whole thing feel much more exciting than just sitting there methodically pressing buttons yourself like you’re operating a microwave.
And in public? Absolutely feral behaviour. If you wear this out as a couple, there is approximately a 97% chance you are having sex the second you get home.
For long distance use, I think the Lush works best as part of a broader setup rather than a standalone orgasm machine. Pair it with the Lovense Ferri panty vibrator or another clitoral stimulator and whole thing makes much more sense.
The internal vibrations plus external stimulation create a genuinely excellent blended orgasm situation, especially because the app control adds a level of anticipation and teasing that normal vibrators don’t really replicate.
Lovense Remote App Review
The actual toy is good, but the app is the reason people rave about it; Lovense is the name in long distance app-controlled sex toys.

App Quality
The Lovense Remote app looks polished and modern, although it’s definitely busier than apps from brands like Svakom or Satisfyer.
There are menus, community sections, livestream features, games, AI companions, custom patterns, sound activation, chat systems, partner controls, and approximately fourteen thousand things I will probably never touch.
Still, nothing about it feels dodgy or badly made. It just occasionally feels like somebody kept adding features without ever asking whether they should.
Setup & Connection
You do need to create an account to use the long distance features, although signing in with Google makes this fairly painless.
Connection was excellent during testing; No major lag, no random disconnects. Once connected, controls feel responsive and smooth, including long distance control.
The only slightly awkward part is connecting with a partner, because this happens through the app’s built-in chat system rather than a simpler invite process. Once you find it, though, everything works well.
Features

There are an absurd number of features here. Some of them are genuinely useful and some of them are deeply unnecessary.
Useful features include:
- Remote toy control
- Long distance control
- Custom vibration patterns
- Sound-reactive vibrations
- Built-in video calls
- Scheduled vibration alarms
- Kegel training functions
And yes, you can literally schedule your vagina to wake you up in the morning. Modern technology is incredible.
There are also games, because apparently we’re gamifying orgasms now. You can play Tetris-style puzzle games where matching shapes triggers vibrations. It’s weird. But also weirdly entertaining.
Long Distance Control
The long distance functionality is where Lovense earns its reputation
Both users need accounts, and you connect through the in-app chat before starting a remote session. It sounds slightly clunky written down, but in practice it works well.
The connection actually remains stable during use, which is arguably the single most important thing for a long distance toy. Yay!
The Lovense app has built-in video calling; it seems that, ridiculously, most app-controlled sex toys don’t have this feature and I guess expect you to use another app for communication while separately controlling the toy. That sounds fine until you’re juggling Bluetooth connections, switching apps, and trying not to accidentally disconnect everything mid-session.
Having video calls integrated directly into the app makes the whole experience feel much smoother and more connected. And it’s easy, and I love easy.

Battery Life & Charging
Battery life is solid overall and comfortably lasts through multiple sessions before needing recharging.
Charging is magnetic and simple enough, although like most magnetic chargers it occasionally detaches itself if you so much as breathe near it aggressively.
Who Is The Lovense Lush 4 Best For?
I think the Lovense Lush 4 works best for:
- Long distance couples (this is the number one!) who want interactive control during video calls
- People specifically wanting reliable remote control
- Public play enthusiasts
- Anyone who prefers deep, rumbly, internal vibrations
Less ideal for:
- People who hate apps and modern technology
- Anyone wanting a very simple experience
- Users who find ‘community features’ horrifying – or who don’t want to sign up
- People looking for a super cheap wearable vibe
Lovense Lush 4 vs Other Wearable Vibrators

Compared to toys from We-Vibe like the Chorus for instance, the Lovense app is significantly better for long distance functionality and connection stability.
Compared to cheaper vibrating eggs like the Magic Motion Vini, the Lush 4 feels much more premium, powerful, and reliable.
Where it loses points slightly is simplicity. Some competitors’ apps feel cleaner and easier to navigate, whereas Lovense occasionally feels like a social network that accidentally became a sex toy app.
Final Verdict
Feature | Lovense Lush 4 |
|---|---|
Long distance control | Excellent |
App quality | Excellent but cluttered |
Public play suitability | Very good |
Noise level | Moderate |
Best for | Couples & remote play |
Vibrations | Deep & rumbly |
I went into this expecting to roll my eyes at most of it. And to be fair, parts of the app absolutely deserve side-eye; I do not need AI companions, I do not need a horny social network and I probably do not need vibration-based puzzle games.
But underneath all the chaos is one of the best long distance sex toy systems I’ve tried.
The Lovense Lush 4 app-controlled vibrating love egg is powerful, comfortable, reliable, and backed up by an app that genuinely works well when it matters.
Will it make you orgasm? Probably not. Will it make you so horny you can’t wait to get home? Probably, yes.
