Satisfyer Pro 2 Review (Original vs Generation 3): Is the Upgrade Worth It?

Contains affiliate links. This review was written in 2022, and was updated in March 2026 to include a comparison review of the new upgraded Satisfyer Pro 2 Generation 3. You can jump straight to the comparison here.

I was ‘sucked in’ by the hype, and this Satisfyer Pro 2 review is based on over two years of glorious ownership. If you’re wondering whether the Satisfyer Pro 2 clitoral stimulator actually lives up to the hype, here’s my honest experience.

The Satisfyer Pro 2‘s predecessor – unsurprisingly called the Satisfyer Number One – was the start of something new in the world of sex toys.

Vibrators providing clitoral stimulation were commonplace and then in came the clit sucker and blew – or sucked – them all out of the water.

With a cute rose gold or pastel handle which is ergonomically designed so you can hold it comfortably, the Satisfyer Pro 2 clitoral stimulator is much more aesthetically pleasing, smaller and lighter than some sex toys for women. It’s certainly less intimidating – and probably a lot more effective – than a massive thrusting pink cock, and a bit (but not massively) quieter than a standard battery operated or wand vibrator.

Introducing The Satisfyer Pro 2 Clit Sucker

Satisfyer 2 pro review

The Satisfyer Pro 2 is a wireless, rechargeable sex toy with 11 intensity settings. Made for external use, rather than vibrating, the Satisfyer Pro 2 uses pulses of air to stimulate the clitoris and produce waves of real pleasure and super quick orgasms.

I’d never used anything like it before, but saw it recommended all over the place and at the time it was priced under £25 on Amazon, so I decided to give it a go. NB the price has since risen to around £35, but it’s still in my list of cheap clitoral suction toys.

How To Use The Satisfyer Pro 2

The body is made of hard plastic which feels ergonomic in your hand. The head – the only part which comes into contact with your body – is made of medical grade silicone.

The head, which can also be removed for cleaning, is placed directly on the skin around the clit. Press and hold the ‘on’ button and use the up/down buttons to cycle through the intensities until you find one that feels really good. And when it feels good, it feels good.

As with all clitoral stimulators, you need to be turned on before you use it.

Satisfyer 2 pro review

Think of it like an erection – you need to get it hard before you can start working with it. You can’t go from 0-60 without a warm up.

Features of The Satisfyer 2

It’s waterproof (IPX7) so you can relax with it in the bath which is great news if you have kids and a door lock and it’s reasonably quiet when it’s on – not whisper quiet, like the Biird Namii clit sucker, but not noisy like a classic vibe.

Pro tip – put it in place and then turn it on, and off while in situ. It forms a kind of vacuum and is less audible. The fact its waterproof also makes it a cinch to clean; the head comes off and the whole thing can be rinsed under the tap.

Would I recommend the Satisfyer Pro 2? review

It charges with a magnetic charger for a few hours, and then lasts long enough to deliver many, many orgasms. You can tell when it needs recharging because it kind of peters out. You can’t however use it while charging, so if you have a big night planned, make sure it’s full of juice beforehand.

As a couples toy it can bring an extra element to your sex sessions, although I still prefer a magic wand for ease of use as although the head of the Satisfyer Pro 2 is larger than in some other clit suckers, it can easily be knocked out of place if you’re being vigorous. However as a solo toy, it works wonderfully.

Satisfyer 2 pro review

Pros of The Satisfyer Pro 2

• Extremely strong air-pulse stimulation
• Very affordable compared to premium clit suckers
• 11 intensity levels
• Waterproof and easy to clean
• Quiet enough for discreet use
• Long battery life

Cons of The Satisfyer Pro 2

• Hard plastic body feels less premium than luxury toys
• Can be too intense for very sensitive users
• Needs correct positioning to work properly

Satisfyer Pro 2 vs Other Clit Suckers

The Satisfyer Pro 2 is often compared to more expensive air-pulse toys like the Womanizer range. While premium models tend to have quieter motors and softer silicone bodies, the Satisfyer Pro 2 delivers very similar stimulation at a much lower price.

If you’re new to clitoral suction toys, it’s one of the best budget options available. If you already know you love this type of stimulation and want something quieter or more luxurious, toys like the Biird Namii or other premium clit suckers may be worth the upgrade.

Would I Recommend The Satisfyer Pro 2?

Hell yes.

If you’re a clitoris-having person that’s never tried a clitoral stimulator/clit sucker, then the Satisfyer Pro 2 is a brilliant and wallet-friendly place to start.

It doesn’t have the luxe look and feel of more expensive toys like the Biird Namii, but personally I find it amazing; if I’m turned on then the result is almost instantaneous, although I know some people do find any direct stimulation on the clit too much. However with a price tag of around £35 – £50 (I bought mine for under £25, over two years ago) if it doesn’t work for you for any reason, it’s not an expensive loss.

I would say the Satisfyer Pro 2 is 100% worth it.

PS – The Amazon write up is quite something – particularly the line ‘you can enjoy its soft rose gold that excites the female population‘.

I don’t think it’s the colour that’s doing that, to be honest with you.

Satisfyer Pro 2 Generation 3: What’s New?

Satisfyer Pro 2 Generation 3: What’s New?

Although you can still buy the original Satisfyer Pro 2, Satisfyer have now released an updated version of the toy with the Satisfyer Pro 2 Generation 3, which adds a few interesting upgrades to the original design.

It still looks very similar, is the same size, and still uses the same magnetic charger as the first model.

Vibration Setting

The biggest change is that the Generation 3 combines air-pulse stimulation with vibration, thanks to a second motor. This means you can now use the toy as a traditional clitoral suction toy, or combine the suction with vibration patterns.

Liquid Air Technology

The Generation 3 also comes with two interchangeable caps. One delivers the classic Satisfyer air-pulse stimulation, while the other uses the Liquid Air membrane to create a slightly different sensation.

This is basically a thin silicone membrane inside the cap to create softer pressure waves that are meant to feel more like pulsing water than direct air pressure. In theory this makes the stimulation feel smoother and more natural compared to the original model.

Although you can still buy the original Satisfyer Pro 2, Satisfyer have now released an updated version of the toy with the Satisfyer Pro 2 Generation 3,

Soft-Touch Silicone Body

Another noticeable change is the fully silicone body. The original Satisfyer Pro 2 used a hard plastic handle with a silicone head, but the Generation 3 is covered entirely in soft-touch, body safe silicone. The removable silicone mouth also feels softer than the previous iteration. This gives it a more premium feel; which is good because at almost £70, it is significantly more expensive than the original.

App Connectivity

And lastly, this model of the Satisfyer Pro 2 3rd Gen has app connectivity, so you or your partner can control it remotely via the app. Having tested it out, the app is sleek and no faff which is probably why it scores noticeably higher than some of its competitors like the LELO Sona 3 for example.

You can get an app-less version of the Gen 3, which is slightly cheaper.

Is the Upgrade Worth It?

Having used the original Satisfyer Pro 2 for years, I was curious to see how the new 3rd generation version compares. The short answer is: there isn’t actually a huge difference in performance.

Suction Strength

In terms of suction strength, I couldn’t notice any meaningful change between the two. Both deliver the same style of air-pulse stimulation and both are still very capable when it comes to producing orgasms. That’s actually quite impressive considering how many newer, more powerful clitoral stimulators have entered the market since the first Pro 2 launched.

Noise

Noise levels are also very similar.

The newer model might be slightly quieter, but the difference is small enough that it’s hard to say for sure. It could just as easily be down to wear and tear on my older toy. In a genuinely blind test (yes, I take this blog seriously) I couldn’t reliably tell them apart. Compared with more premium toys like the Biird Namii or the LELO SONA 3, both versions of the Pro 2 are still fairly noisy; they won’t make it onto my list of quiet sex toys.

Vibration Setting

Because the vibration motor sits inside the head itself, I honestly struggled to feel much from it. If vibration is something you particularly enjoy, there are far better toys available, so this isn’t a feature I’d personally pay extra for.

Liquid Air Technology

As someone who prefers strong stimulation, I see what they’re trying to do here – but it’s not something that I, personally, would use. However if you are sensitive to clitoral stimulation it might be a toy worth a try.

App Connectivity

In this upgraded model you’re also getting app connectivity, which worked very smoothly in my testing. The toy connected quickly and the controls in the app were easy to use. I haven’t yet tested the long-distance partner control, which is one of the main selling points of the app integration, but the basic connectivity worked exactly as expected.

Overall Experience of the Satisfyer Pro 2 3rd Generation

Overall, the core experience of the Satisfyer Pro 2 hasn’t changed much. If you already own the original Satisfyer Pro 2, upgrading probably isn’t essential unless you particularly want the silicone body or the app control features.

But if you’re buying one for the first time, the 3rd generation is still a solid, reliable clitoral stimulator that does exactly what it promises.

Vibration and Suction: Does It Improve the Experience?

Where to Buy the Satisfyer Pro 2 and Generation 3

If you’re deciding between the two versions, the original Pro 2 is still the best budget option, while the Generation 3 is worth it if you want the silicone body and app control.

No. It’s much quieter than traditional vibrators, although it isn’t completely silent at higher intensity levels.

Can beginners use the Satisfyer Pro 2?

Can you control the Satisfyer Pro 2 Generation 3 with your phone?

Yes. The Satisfyer Pro 2 Generation 3 can connect to the Satisfyer Connect app via Bluetooth. This allows you to control the toy from your phone, create custom vibration patterns, or let a partner control it remotely.
