I’ve reviewed quite a few clitoral suction toys over the years, and Womanizer consistently makes some of the best. I’ve yet to try one that I haven’t liked, although I certainly have my favourites. The Womanizer Next still holds the top spot for me, thanks to its beautifully smooth stimulation and adjustable depth. So when Womanizer announced two new compact models, the Snap and the Beauty, I was interested to see what they could bring to an already rather extensive range.

Of the two, I was initially more interested in the Beauty. It’s designed to look like a lipstick, and from a brief look at the promotional pictures I assumed it would be a tiny little thing that you could slip into your makeup bag without anyone batting an eyelid. The Snap, on the other hand, didn’t particularly grab my attention. Then they arrived, and I completely changed my mind.

Womanizer Snap vs Beauty Review: Two Very Different Suction Toys

The Beauty is a lot bigger than I’d imagined. It looks like a lipstick, certainly, but a rather oversized one. The Snap, meanwhile, is absolutely tiny and comes in a little charging case that resembles something you’d keep wireless earbuds in.

The Womanizer Snap and Beauty cost £69.99/$79 and £59.99/$79 respectively, putting them at a similar price point. If you’re buying through Lovehoney, you can use my discount code SEXTOYREVIEW20 to save 20%, bringing the price down to £55.99 in the UK/$63.20 in the US, and the Beauty to £47.99 in the UK or $63.20 in the US.

Womanizer Snap Review: Small But Surprisingly Impressive

Design And First Impressions

Womanizer Snap packaging

The Womanizer Snap is the smallest clitoral suction toy I’ve tried, even compared with the Womanizer Starlet 3, Liberty 2 and Monster Pub Hulu. It has a lovely soft-touch finish on the back, and feels surprisingly premium for something so tiny.

The charging case is particularly clever. It looks rather like an earbuds case (you can see the comparison below!), has a little mirror inside, and can recharge the Snap without being connected to the mains, provided the case itself has charge. You charge the case using USB-C, then simply pop the toy back inside when you’re finished.

The silicone stimulation mouth is removable for cleaning, although you don’t get a spare, so I’d be careful not to lose it.

The little mirror is a nice touch, although I’m not entirely sure anyone was crying out for a mirror in their sex toy case. Nevertheless, I appreciate having somewhere to store the toy rather than chucking it loose into a drawer and it does a good job of protecting the toy from dust and fluff.

Overall, the Snap feels thoughtfully designed, and certainly more premium than some of Womanizer’s entry-level models like the Starlet 3. The case isn’t just an unnecessary accessory thrown in to make the product look more expensive, it’s genuinely useful.

Womanizer Snap Review: Small But Surprisingly Impressive

What Does The Womanizer Snap Feel Like?

Of course, being tiny and having a lovely charging case is all very well, but none of that matters if it doesn’t work.

Fortunately, the Snap delivers proper Womanizer Pleasure Air stimulation, with six intensity settings. It is very similar in sensation to the larger Starlet 3 and Liberty models. It certainly doesn’t feel like a novelty toy that sacrifices performance for size, although the stimulation is quite different from the more expensive Womanizer Next.

The Next produces an incredibly smooth sensation, with individual pulses that almost blend together. The Snap is much thuddier, with noticeably distinct rhythmic pulses. You can feel the individual beats rather than the smoother, almost continuous sensation of the Next.

That’s not necessarily a bad thing; I personally prefer the smoothness of the Next, but I know plenty of people enjoy more pronounced and thuddy pulses. If you like to feel each individual pulse rather than having everything blend together, you might actually prefer the Snap.

Despite my preferences, I found the stimulation enjoyable and surprisingly substantial considering the size of the toy. It may not have the sophistication or versatility of the Next, particularly its adjustable depth settings, but it’s perfectly capable of doing what a clitoral suction toy is supposed to do.

Is The Womanizer Snap Easy To Use?

Is The Womanizer Snap Easy To Use?

One of my favourite things about the Snap is how easy it is to position. Because it’s so small, you can pop it over your clitoris, bring your legs together and hold it in place with your thighs. It actually works rather well, and you don’t necessarily need to keep a hand on it throughout. I wouldn’t describe it as a proper hands-free sex toy because it’s not designed to be worn, and if you move around it’s obviously going to shift. Nevertheless, it’s a useful little trick, particularly if you want to use another toy at the same time.

There is a downside to this miniature design, however. The Snap doesn’t have a proper long handle, which means it isn’t as easy to grip or manoeuvre as something like the Womanizer Next or Satisfyer Pro 2. You’re essentially holding the body of the toy itself, and there isn’t much of it. Personally, I don’t find this particularly problematic, but I can see why someone who prefers a substantial handle, or has difficulty gripping smaller objects, might struggle.

I do appreciate the controls; press the plus button to switch it on and increase the power, and use the minus button to decrease it and eventually turn it off. It’s a simple arrangement, but I much prefer it to having to cycle through every setting with one button.

Is The Womanizer Snap Quiet And Good For Travel?

Womanizer snap in hand

The Snap isn’t silent, and you can hear the motor when it’s running, particularly on the higher settings. It’s very similar to the Starlet 3 or the Liberty 2. However, I found it quieter than the Beauty, which has a more obvious mechanical noise. If absolute quietness is your priority, there are better options, and I’ve covered several in my quietest sex toys guide.

Where I think the Snap really earns its place in the Womanizer range is travel. I’ve previously recommended the Womanizer Next Liberty as my favourite premium travel suction toy, and I still think it’s excellent. However, the Snap takes portability to another level.

It’s exactly the sort of thing you can throw into your handbag or weekend bag without giving it much thought. It’s particularly good for hand luggage because it takes up virtually no space, and the case looks like an ordinary little electronics accessory. Airport security staff can obviously inspect anything they need to, but I’d be surprised if this attracted much attention.

I’ve tried plenty of travel-friendly sex toys, but I think the Snap might now be my favourite truly miniature travel suction toy. You can find more suggestions in my guide to the best sex toys to take on holiday.

Womanizer Beauty Review: Not Quite The Tiny Lipstick I Expected

Design And Controls

Now onto the toy I originally thought I’d be more interested in, the Womanizer Beauty. It’s designed to resemble a lipstick, which I thought was quite a clever idea. Unfortunately, from my very cursory look at the images, it seems I’d seriously underestimated the size of it. Compared with the Snap, it’s positively enormous.

However, it doesn’t immediately look like a sex toy either, and I can imagine leaving it on a bedside table without anyone giving it much thought. The body feels reasonably nice rather than cheap and plasticky, and the longer handle makes it easy to position. There’s no clever charging case, just USB-C charging and a rather bright, flashing green charging light. I’m not a massive fan of charging lights that illuminate the bedroom at night, so I’d position this one away from the bed while charging.

The control button is right at the bottom of the lipstick, exactly where you’d expect it to be, and has a proper click rather than being hidden beneath a tiny indentation in the silicone. I’ve tested far too many suction toys where you have to feel around trying to find the controls, particularly those round rose and lemon-shaped ones that feel virtually identical whichever way you’re holding them. The Beauty doesn’t have that problem.

Unfortunately, it’s still a one-button toy. You long-press to turn it on or off, and shorter presses cycle through the six intensity settings. That means if you accidentally skip past your favourite setting, you have to go all the way around again. It’s not disastrous with only six levels, and mercifully there aren’t any patterns, but I much prefer having separate intensity controls.

The silicone stimulation mouth is removable for cleaning, although you don’t get a spare, and the lipstick lid keeps everything protected when it’s not being used.

What Does The Womanizer Beauty Feel Like?

What Does The Womanizer Beauty Feel Like?

The Beauty is a straightforward clitoral suction toy, and it does exactly what you’d expect. It delivers Womanizer’s familiar pulsing air stimulation across six intensity settings, without any additional features or sophisticated depth adjustments.

And yes, it can deliver an orgasm. I’ve yet to encounter a Womanizer that hasn’t managed that, although some have certainly done it more enjoyably than others.

Like the Snap, the stimulation is quite direct, pronounced and ‘thuddy’, without the smoothness or refinement of the Next – again, similar to the Starlet 3 or Liberty 2. There’s nothing particularly wrong with it, and if you’ve never used a more expensive suction toy, you might be perfectly delighted. However, having tested so many Womanizers, I don’t think it offers anything especially interesting in terms of sensation.

I’d still choose the Beauty over many generic novelty suckers, simply because the stimulation feels better to me. My biggest criticism would be the noise. It’s noticeably louder than the Snap, the Liberty 2 or Starlet 3. For a toy that’s supposedly discreet because it looks like lipstick, it’s not particularly discreet once switched on.

That said, the longer handle is comfortable, the button placement is good, and it does the job. I just don’t think there’s anything particularly remarkable about the stimulation.

Is The Womanizer Beauty Worth £60/$80?

Is The Womanizer Beauty Worth £80?

At its £60/$80 launch price, which comes down to £48/$63.20 with our discount code SEXTOYREVIEW20, I’m not entirely convinced.

I can see the appeal as a gift, particularly for someone who likes the novelty of the lipstick disguise. It’s fun, recognisable and probably less intimidating than some larger, more obviously sexual-looking products. It also has practical advantages over generic novelty toys, including USB-C charging, a protective cap, removable silicone mouth and the reassurance of buying from a known brand with a guarantee.

However, it’s not particularly small, it’s louder than I’d like, and the one-button controls feel rather basic for the price. If the Beauty appears in a sale, which I suspect it eventually will, I’d be much happier recommending it as an entry-level suction toy at the £40/$50 mark. At full price, I think you’re paying a fair amount for the lipstick design rather than anything especially impressive about its performance.

How Do They Compare With Other Womanizer Toys?

The Womanizer Snap, Beauty, Next, Next Liberty and Liberty 2
The Womanizer Snap, Beauty, Next, Next Liberty and Liberty 2

The Womanizer Next remains my favourite overall, primarily because of its beautifully smooth stimulation, adjustable depth and comfortable handle. The Snap and Beauty don’t offer that level of sophistication, but their thuddier pulses might appeal more to someone who enjoys pronounced stimulation.

The Womanizer Next Liberty is still my recommendation if you want a premium suction experience that’s convenient to take away. However, if portability is your biggest priority, the Snap is considerably smaller and its charging case is a huge advantage.

There’s also the Monster Pub Hulu, another little suction toy that surprised me with its features. It’s small, USB-C rechargeable, waterproof and even offers app control, which is impressive for something so compact. The Hulu is worth considering if you want app connectivity, but I prefer the Snap’s presentation, two button controls, and charging case.

Womanizer Snap and Monster Pub Hulu

I’ve compared the wider range in my Which Womanizer Is Best? guide, and I think the Snap deserves a reasonably high position, particularly for travel. The Beauty sits towards the lower end, alongside the more basic entry-level models.

I also happily recommend the Snap in my best clit suckers roundup as an excellent miniature option, although the Next retains its overall top spot.

Womanizer Snap vs Beauty: Which Is Better?

Womanizer Snap vs Beauty: Which Is Better?

Although both toys are intended to be compact and discreet, they’ve approached the idea in completely different ways. The Beauty is disguised as something else, whereas the Snap is genuinely tiny.

Final Verdict: Womanizer Snap Or Beauty?

I went into this review expecting to prefer the Beauty, primarily because I thought it would be the smaller, more discreet and more interesting of the two. Instead, I ended up liking the Snap more.

The Beauty isn’t a bad suction toy. It works, the longer handle is comfortable, and I appreciate the conveniently positioned control button on the base. However, it’s bigger than I expected, relatively noisy and fairly basic. At £60/$80 before discount, I’d struggle to recommend it over some of the other Womanizer models, although I think it could be a decent purchase if you find it discounted and it would make a fun gift.

The Snap, on the other hand, has really surprised me. It’s absolutely tiny, the charging case is brilliant, and I love being able to position it and hold it in place with my thighs. The stimulation isn’t weak for the size, and although it’s noticeably thuddier than the Next, which isn’t necessarily my personal preference, I can absolutely see some people enjoying it more.

It won’t suit everyone. If you prefer a substantial handle like the Next or Satisfyer Pro 2, or want more sophisticated stimulation like the Next or LELO SONA 3, you may find it a little too basic or fiddly. But that’s the trade-off for having something so exceptionally compact.
