Every few months, social media collectively decides that a particular sex toy is the thing everybody needs to own.

What’s In The Box?
Neither toy is trying to compete on luxury. Inside the box you’ll find:

Having tested both fruity toys side-by-side, they’re far more similar than different.

The main difference comes down to the sensation. The ROMP Lemon feels slightly more aggressive and direct. The stimulation is a little more noticeable and the toy itself is fractionally louder, particularly in a quiet bedroom at night.
The Strawberry feels slightly gentler and a touch softer in comparison.
The difference isn’t dramatic enough that I’d recommend one over the other based purely on performance. For most people, choosing between them will come down to which shape appeals more.
Personally, I think I’d go for the ROMP Lemon slightly more often, but there really isn’t much in it.
Performance Of The Lemon And Strawberry Clit Suckers
Both toys worked, which is perhaps an obvious thing to say in a sex toy review, but it’s worth mentioning because it’s easy to assume that cheaper suction toys are automatically inferior.
So the headline news is that I had no trouble reaching orgasm with either the Lemon or the Strawberry toy; much like the Rose Toy before them, they’re effective little sex toys that do exactly what they’re supposed to do.
They aren’t perfect. Due to the spherical shape, you may well lose the button mid-use. If you forget what level of intensity you’re on, you may overshoot it and have to cycle back through them until you reach the right one. However, neither of these are deal breakers, particularly for the cost.
What surprised me was how small the gap felt between these and toys costing three or four times as much. Don’t get me wrong, the Womanizer Next and LELO SONA 3 are superior products. They’re quieter, more refined and offer more control. But if your only question is whether the ROMP Lemon and Strawberry can produce satisfying orgasms, the answer is yes.

Lemon And Strawberry Vs Premium Clit Suckers
Where the fruity duo fall behind premium competitors isn’t in the end result, but in how they get there.
Compared to the Womanizer Next and LELO SONA 3 – the top picks in our round up of best clitoral suction toys – the stimulation feels slightly harsher, less like it’s coaxing that orgasm out of you gently. The intensity changes are more noticeable as you move through the settings and the overall sensation feels less smooth.
Both premium toys have a wider range of intensity levels which you can increase and decrease rather than cycling through using the one button. I assume due to the more expensive motors used, the stimulation feels more controlled and somehow more refined. If you place both against your skin you will certainly notice the difference; the more expensive toys are powerful but slightly less aggressive with it.

No, not really. The fruit-shaped design is comfortable to hold during solo use, and even to grip between your thighs, but both toys are taller than premium competitors which lie flatter against the body.
