Satisfyer Pro 2: A Proven Name In Suction Toys
The Satisfyer Pro 2 was my very first suction toy, and years later it is still my pick of the cheaper clit suckers because it gives you a lot for the money without feeling like a disposable budget toy.
It’s rechargeable, fully waterproof and has plenty of intensity levels with much smoother stimulation than most ultra-cheap suction toys. It is not as quiet or as refined as the more expensive Womanizer or LELO models I’ve tested, but for around £35 it performs very well.
I also think it’s a good option if you’re buying your first clit sucker and don’t want to spend £100+ before you know whether this type of stimulation works for you.
The biggest downside is that the price has crept up over the years, so it is no longer the absolute bargain it once was. Even so, I would still choose it over a lot of cheaper anonymous Amazon models.
ROMP Lemon Crush: Cute Clit Sucker For Beginners
The ROMP Lemon Crush is one of the better cheap clit suckers I’ve tested recently. It’s rechargeable, waterproof, simple to use and powerful enough without feeling immediately overwhelming, which makes it a good choice if you’re new to suction toys.
Despite being a one-button model, it is a little more substantial than a lot of ultra-cheap novelty clit suckers. The fruity design is silly, obviously, but underneath that it is still a proper rechargeable toy from a known brand rather than something completely anonymous from Amazon.
I preferred the Lemon to some of the other novelty-shaped budget models I’ve tried, and I’d happily recommend it if you want something inexpensive but still reasonably well made.

The Lovehoney Romp: Basic But Gets The Job Done
The ROMP Switch is about as basic as clit suckers get, but that is also the point.
Unlike the Lemon, it runs on AAA batteries rather than being rechargeable, it is only splashproof rather than fully waterproof, and there are no fancy features or unusual settings. What you do get is a simple suction toy from a known brand at a genuinely low price.
It is also fairly quiet for such a cheap toy, and if you want to try a clit sucker without spending much at all, it is a safer bet than choosing a completely unknown marketplace brand purely because it has hundreds of reviews.
I would still choose the ROMP Lemon over this if the prices were close, simply because the Lemon is rechargeable, waterproof and feels like the more modern toy. But if the Switch is on offer and your priority is keeping the cost as low as possible, it still makes sense.

The Rose Toy is probably the best-known cheap clit sucker on the internet, and it became popular for a reason. These little floral suction toys are usually powerful, inexpensive and very easy to use.
I have tested Rose Toys myself and, for the money, they can be surprisingly effective. The big caveat is that ‘Rose Toy’ is now a style rather than one single product. There are countless versions being sold by different brands and marketplace sellers, so the quality, materials and waterproofing can vary considerably.
That is why I would be much more selective about where I bought one than I would with something like Satisfyer or ROMP.

So Divine Strawgasm: Best Fun Budget Pick
The So Divine Strawgasm is another fruity clit sucker, but unlike a lot of novelty-shaped toys it comes from an established UK brand and although the full RRP is closer to £40, you can sign up for their newsletter to receive 15% off bringing the price down to £34.
It is rechargeable, waterproof and simple to use, with the strawberry shape making it feel a bit less clinical than some traditional suction toys. It is also a better option for me than the more expensive So Divine suction models I tested, which did not impress me as much for the money.
I would still pick the Satisfyer Pro 2 if performance was my main priority, and the ROMP Lemon if I wanted something beginner-friendly and easy to recommend. But if you want a cheap, fun-looking suction toy from a known brand, the Strawgasm is a solid option.

Are Cheap Clit Suckers Safe?
Cheap clit suckers can be perfectly safe, but I am much more cautious with unknown marketplace brands than I am with established manufacturers and retailers.
For any rechargeable sex toy, I would avoid leaving it charging overnight or while you are out, and I would check that it is sold by a reputable retailer and made from body-safe materials. This matters even more with very cheap toys from anonymous brands where it can be difficult to verify manufacturing standards or even work out who actually made the product as they might not pass standard electrical safety checks.
Clit suckers are generally used externally, so they do not carry the same risks as badly designed anal or internal toys where something can become stuck inside the body. But you still want a toy that is safe against your skin, easy to clean and electrically sound.
The other risk is simply wasting your money. Cheap clit suckers often have rougher controls, louder motors and less refined stimulation than premium models.
