Biird are a female-led pleasure positive brand. Their mission is ‘to dispel the taboo surrounding sex toys and other products designed specifically to make you feel good’ and their toys are just about the cutest, squishiest, most non-threatening sex toys you could possibly buy, alongside Smile Makers who have a very similar vibe.
The first Biird toy I got my hands on was the Evii mini vibrator, followed by the chunkier Biird Namii; a vibrator, a clitoral stimulator/sucker and a night light all in one! I have since also purchased the Biird Namii 2, which is an upgrade although retains most of the features from the original.

Biird Namii Review: Quick Verdict
The Biird Namii is a powerful clitoral suction toy with an unusually cute design and soft silicone body. It combines air-pulse stimulation with vibration and remains surprisingly quiet compared to many clit suckers.
Best for: Beginners, those who like masturbating on their front, anyone looking for super-quiet sex toys, and anyone who wants a powerful but non-intimidating clitoral stimulator.
Skip it if: You want the most powerful thing on the market – go for the Womanizer Next or the LELO Sona 3 instead.
Biird Namii Review: Design and First Impressions
The upgraded Namii 2 is a squishy silicone sex toy that comes in three pretty pastel colours; lilac, pink, and mint. The blue Namii Jouissance Club Edition costs £10 more, but inside you get a box of goodies including a necklace, bookmark, print, stickers, bag and a book of tips.
It looks a bit like a bird; and not at all like a sex toy. It comes in a charging case (although the Namii 2 can be charged via a magnetic USB charger) which acts as a nightlight. Cute.
If aesthetics matter to you – or you want a toy that doesn’t look intimidating – the Namii is one of the nicest designs available.

How Does the Biird Namii Work?
This clit sucker provides battery-powered localised stimulation directly to the most sensitive part of your body with big results. Unlike a traditional vibrator, the Biird Namii uses air-pulse stimulation that targets the clitoris without direct contact, stimulating far more nerve endings than surface vibration alone.
The result – as long as you’re already in the mood – is a near instant orgasm.
Not only has it got power behind it, it’s also super pretty and comes with light up display charger which doubles as a mood light so you can see what you’re doing. It’s easier than fumbling for a lightswitch, and much more fun than doing it in the dark.

It has two buttons on the bottom; hold in the O for suction (and then press to cycle through intensities) and hold the 〰 button in for vibrations.
Press and hold to switch off, give it a wipe over and pop it back into its storage cradle. Easy peasy.

Biird Namii 2 Quick Verdict: Pros and Cons
For this Biird Namii review, I’ve summarised the key points below.
Pros
- Near-instant orgasm. That’s the biggie. It works, and it works well. That’s pretty much all the Namii review you need, but I’ll keep going…
- Really quiet so you don’t have to worry about the neighbours wondering what you’re up to, or the kids waking up.
- Waterproof so you can destress in the bath – after all, that’s what door locks are for.
- Easy to clean – can just rinse under the tap.
- Cute AF – much less intimidating to sex toy newbies than a big purple throbbing cock or a realistic sex doll.
- Feels soft and tactile. It’s just nice!
- Also acts as a nightlight so you don’t have to do it in the dark – you can switch this on and off with the button on the back.
- Charges really easily and quickly (about two hours) and then you can use it for 2-3 hours before it needs recharging.
- Can be hands free for, er, interesting zoom meetings, squished between your thighs. It can be comfortably used on your front if you enjoy the sensation of grinding into a toy.
- The newer Namii 2 has seven suction strengths and six intensities. The lowest suction level is noticeable, and the highest is really pretty powerful.
- Has a travel lock; hold both buttons until the red light blinks to lock and then unlock in the same manner. This means you can take it on holiday with no embarrassing moments at the baggage carousel at Heathrow. Not that that’s a thing that’s happened ever and certainly not to me.

Cons
- As with all clitoral suckers it has to be positioned just right to do its job effectively, which might make it less suited to couple’s play than a magic wand vibrator, for instance.
- It isn’t the most intense suction available in the clitoral suction market.
- In the original version of the Namii, it wasn’t possible to reduce the suction or intensity, only increase it, meaning you had to cycle through all levels. However the Namii 2 scrolls first up and then down through the intensities, and buzzes when you reach the highest/lowest one so you don’t have to keep count. This is a great improvement!
- With an RRP of £99 or £109 for the pastel blue Namii Jouissance Club Edition, the Biird Namii clitoral stimulator and vibrator is more expensive and luxe than some toys on the market such as the Satisfyer Pro 2, a budget clitoral suction toy delivering a similar function. However it doesn’t have the same feel or look as the Namii, which is a really good quality toy that works.
Biird Namii vs Other Clitoral Suction Toys

The Namii sits in the mid-to-premium range of clitoral suction toys. Even with a 10% discount, it’s more expensive than popular budget options like the Satisfyer Pro 2, but the build quality and design feel noticeably more premium. It is worth noting that it is cheaper than top clitoral stimulator picks, the Womanizer Next, but is not as powerful, or the sonic pulse LELO SONA 3, but does not have app connectivity allowing for remote use.
Compared to many suction toys, the Namii is also quieter and softer to the touch thanks to its full silicone body.

If you think perhaps the Namii is a bit big, you don’t want the vibrating function or would like a slightly cheaper alternative, the Biird Lumii is a good alternative.
The Namii 2: An Upgrade on the Original?
The Namii 2 is the latest version, available for the same price as the original Biird Namii. I bought one to test it out, and it’s every bit as orgasmic as the original. The main differences are:
- A slightly wider opening
- A magnetic travel charger meaning it can charge outside of the cradle
- It has 7 intensities and can scroll through them in both directions. A short buzz makes it clear when you’ve hit the highest/lowest so you can stop scrolling.
Is the Biird Namii 2 Worth Buying?
If you’re looking for a powerful clitoral suction toy that doesn’t look intimidating, the Biird Namii is a brilliant option. It delivers fairly strong stimulation while still feeling soft, discreet and beautifully designed.
It’s more expensive than some alternatives, but the build quality, quiet motor and playful design make it one of the most appealing clitoral stimulators on the market.

Who is the Biird Namii best for?
The Biird Namii is particularly good for:
- People who prefer clitoral suction toys rather than strong vibration
- Sex toy beginners who want a cute, non-intimidating design
- Women who masturbate on their front and want to hold this between their thighs with comfort
- Anyone looking for a very quiet clitoral stimulator
- People who value aesthetics as much as performance
It may be less ideal for couples play where broader stimulation (like a wand vibrator) is easier to use.
