When most people think of magic wand vibrators, they imagine one thing: a powerful external vibrator designed for clitoral stimulation. What Is the LELO Switch Wand Vibrator?
The LELO Switch Wand Vibrator is a luxury dual-function vibrator designed to work in two different ways.
With the first long press of the ‘on’ button, it functions like a traditional wand vibrator, delivering broad external stimulation that works well for clitoral play and the range is pretty damn good, from a light buzz to deep, rumbling vibrations that I promise you will do the job.
But with a press of the button, the vibrations move to the end of the curved shaft, allowing it to be inserted to target the G-spot – without needing to swap toys mid-session.
This makes it brilliant for partner play, particularly if you like to indulge in a spot of BDSM – you can have one toy and the decision about how to use it is down to the partner. I find this an incredible turn on, and I genuinely think some of our best sex has been with the LELO Switch to hand.

Strong, Deep Vibrations
One of the biggest questions with wand toys is always the same: How powerful is it?
The Switch delivers deep, rumbly vibrations that feel noticeably stronger than many smaller vibrators.
In fact, the power level is almost comparable to mains powered vibrators, and definitely one of the strongest recheargeable wands I’ve tried, along with the slightly cheaper MYLO wand which is similar in concept but not as easily insertable due to the somewhat thicker shaft.
If you like strong stimulation, it definitely delivers.
App Connectivity
Like the SONA 3, the LELO Switch can connect to the LELO app via Bluetooth, unlocking additional features. Through the app you can control the toy remotely, access to additional stimulation modes and use the Love Bridge feature for long-distance partner control.
The additional modes available in the app are:
Finish Me Off – gradually builds intensity to a strong climax
Out Of Control – unpredictable stimulation patterns
If you enjoy long-distance play or partner control, the app functionality adds some fun options.
Again, I got the app working quite easily and was able to control the wand but have not had the opportunity to try this long distance yet.
Although I didn’t experience any problems, if this is an important feature to you, you should be aware that the app has a 2.8* star rating on the Play store with many reviewers disappointed in the connectivity and login problems.

Like most LELO toys, the Switch is made from body-safe silicone. The material feels soft and smooth, and the overall build quality is very solid.
It definitely feels like a luxury toy rather than a budget vibrator (which with an RRP of £179, is what you’d expect!).
Waterproof Design
The LELO Switch wand is fully waterproof, meaning it can be used in the bath or shower and is easy to rinse clean afterwards.
Travel Lock
The LELO travel lock feature ensures the device will not turn on while in your luggage, making it a great travel sex toy and the perfect addition, I think, to a dirty weekend away as a couple!
Design and First Impressions
The box arrived wrapped in a black fabric bag; the kind of discretion you love to see in sex toys.
Taking it out of the box for the first time, you notice that the LELO Switch has a sleek, minimalist design that feels very typical of LELO products. It’s smaller and more portable most magic wands, but still has enough length to be comfortable to hold and use.
It also feels discreet compared to classic wands, which can look fairly industrial. It’s not your classic black and silver design, it’s a cute pastel colour.
It has a ribbed head but no deep ridges in which lube and bodily fluids can get trapped, meaning it’s easy to clean – which isn’t the case for all magic wands. It’s also fairly quiet when in use – not whisper quiet, but definitely hotel-room quiet on lower settings.

How it Works
The operation is simple; charge it up using the enclosed USB pin charger. Press the centre button to turn the toy on, and use the up and down buttons to increase or decrease intensity; there are 16 intensities in total. Press the middle button again to change ends and scroll through the 10 different patterns.
To turn it off, hold and press the centre button again.
The travel lock can be activated and deactivated by holding and pressing the two outer buttons simultaeously until it flashes.
The LELO Switch can also connect to the LELO app and be controlled remotely.
How the LELO Switch Feels in Use
Used as a wand vibrator, the Switch provides broad stimulation across the clitoris, similar to other wand toys. The vibrations are deep and powerful; I can personally recommend it both for solo play and for stronger orgasms during sex when used as a wand vibrator.
Switch to the G-spot vibrator, and the curve makes it easier to reach internal sweet spots. The combination of strong vibrations and the curved shape makes it surprisingly effective internally.
During testing, it was more than capable of producing very strong orgasms. ‘Thank God This Hotel Is Soundproofed Well’ type orgasms.
My partner – who was driving – commented very positively on the ease of use and the multi-functionality.

Compared with other quiet, rechargeable wands like The Oriel and The One Wand, it is noticeably more powerful.
However, the key difference is the dual-function design.
While most wands only provide external stimulation, the Switch can redirect vibrations to the curved shaft for internal G-spot stimulation.
Compared with the MYLO wand, which also offers internal stimulation, the Switch is slightly slimmer and easier to insert, although both deliver strong vibrations. Note that the MYLO can offer both vibrations at once, although I don’t know how you’d use them!
