What Is The LELO Tiani Twist?

The LELO Tiani Twist is a wearable, app-controlled couples’ vibrator designed to be worn either during sex or discreetly under clothing while your partner controls it remotely.

LELO Tiani Twist Review: Wearable Couple's Dual-Action Vibrator For Sex Or Public Play

Unlike traditional love eggs that focus mainly on strong internal vibrations, the Tiani Twist is much more focused on clitoral stimulation via the ribbed external vibrator, while the slimmer internal arm helps anchor the toy in place.

It sits somewhere between a wearable clitoral vibrator, a couples’ toy and a discreet teasing toy.

First Impressions Of The Tiani Twist Wearable Vibrator

As with basically every LELO product, the presentation is lovely. LELO really does excel at making sex toys feel luxurious rather than vaguely medical or scary; the box always looks like a gift and you get the obligatory pouch and sachet of lube as well as the toy, warranty, USB pin charger and instructions.

LELO toys are always a treat to hold. Honestly, if somebody told me this was designed by Scandinavian people sitting in a minimalist apartment drinking oat milk while listening to ambient jazz, I would absolutely believe them.

The silicone feels premium, the shape is sleek and comfortable with ‘sensorial’ ribs (also found on the Switch Wand) to transfer the sensations between partners during sex, and the overall design is thoughtful and discreet. The top twists off to reveal the charging port, and twists back into place, sealing the unit and making it waterproof.

Fit & Comfort

One thing I can absolutely praise here is the fit.

The Tiani Twist stayed in place well during testing and didn’t feel bulky or intrusive. The external vibrator is discreet enough that it doesn’t massively get in the way during penetrative sex, which gives it a similar appeal to toys like the We-Vibe Chorus. However, it doesn’t have the internal vibrations of the Chorus (which we found tricky to wear during sex).

It’s also much quieter than the app-controlled love eggs I’ve tested.

Compared to toys like the Lovense Lush 4 or some of the louder wearable eggs, the Tiani Twist is genuinely discreet enough that I’d actually consider wearing it out in public without constantly panicking that I sounded like I’d accidentally sat on an electric toothbrush.

That said, discreet public play still comes with the standard caveat that involving unsuspecting strangers in your kink is grim and weird. If people around you can tell what’s happening, you’ve gone too far.

Using The LELO App To Control The Tiani Twist

The LELO app itself is actually very good. I’ve now tested several LELO app-controlled toys and, overall, their app experience has consistently been smoother and more reliable than a lot of competitors.

The Love Bridge feature works well for nearby partner control, allowing your partner to control the toy from their phone while you wear it. If you’re together in the same room, it’s genuinely fun and easy to use.

However, unlike Lovense, Satisfyer, Svakom etc, there’s no integrated video chat system or more immersive remote-play environment, so this feels much more designed for nearby teasing and partner interaction rather than long-distance relationships.

Using The LELO App To Control The Tiani Twist

There’s also one slightly annoying issue: the app really doesn’t like being pushed into the background. While testing the Tiani Twist, I was attempting to multitask by writing notes in WordPress at the same time and managed to lose connectivity because the app clearly wanted my full attention.

Unfortunately, reconnecting wasn’t seamless either. In my experience, reconnecting properly meant removing the toy and setting it up again, which is not exactly ideal for a wearable toy that’s supposed to work discreetly.

What The Tiani Twist Feels Like To Use

First Impressions Of The Tiani Twist Wearable Vibrator

This is where things became a bit more mixed for me.

The problem isn’t that the Tiani Twist feels bad, it doesn’t. It’s comfortable, subtle, teasing and genuinely pleasant to wear.

The issue is simply that – despite having 16 levels of intensity – it never felt powerful enough for me, personally.

I think LELO has made a conscious decision here to focus on lighter stimulation rather than intense power. Not everybody wants the sexual equivalent of a pneumatic drill aimed directly at their clitoris, and there are plenty of people who genuinely prefer softer, teasing stimulation.

Unfortunately, I am not one of those people.

Compared to stronger vibrators and clitoral suction toys like the LELO SONA 3, Womanizer Next or even a good wand vibrator, the Tiani Twist just felt too restrained for my preferences.

I also suspect anatomy plays a role here; because the external vibrator sits quite flat against the body, I think my outer labia probably prevent the vibrations from reaching my clitoris as directly as I’d ideally want. Wearable toys are incredibly anatomy-dependent and there’s no universal fit that works perfectly for everybody.

But even taking that into account, I personally never found the stimulation strong enough to contribute meaningfully towards orgasm.

Pleasant? Yes.

Orgasmic? Not for me.

Public Wear & Partner Control

Public Wear & Partner Control - the Tiani Twist sex toy from LELO

I actually enjoyed the Tiani Twist more as a wearable teasing toy than as a dedicated clitoral stimulator. Because the stimulation is fairly gentle, I could comfortably wear it in public without feeling completely overwhelmed or struggling to control my reactions.

I can absolutely see why some couples would enjoy that dynamic, especially with the partner-control aspect through the app, and I suspect this is one of those toys that partners probably enjoy controlling more than the wearer necessarily enjoys experiencing.

I also found that the vibrator could sort of function as a small internal vibrator in its own right, almost like a gentler wearable egg, if you wear it backwards.

Again though, this all comes back to expectations; if you love lighter stimulation, teasing and prolonged wear, I think the Tiani Twist makes much more sense.

If you’re somebody who normally reaches for powerful vibrators or clitoral suction toys, it may feel underwhelming and something like the Lovense Ferri app-controlled panty vibrator might work better for you.

Tiani Twist Compared To Other LELO Sex Toys

I think part of my disappointment here is actually because LELO has set the bar incredibly high for me; I’ve genuinely loved every other LELO toy I’ve tested.

LELO sex toys together
  • The LELO SONA 3 remains one of my favourite clitoral suction toys because it delivers focused, powerful stimulation while still feeling refined and luxurious.
  • The LELO ENIGMA Double Sonic Dual Stimulator impressed me far more as a dual stimulation toy because it combines strong clitoral suction with deeper internal stimulation that is absolutely mind-blowing.
  • The LELO Switch wand had more of the power and depth I tend to enjoy, with rumbly vibrations which are enough to make me orgasm during sex.
  • The LELO Surfer 2 is just an all-round great vibrating butt plug.

So going into the Tiani Twist, I think I expected another instant obsession and instead found myself thinking ‘well, this is OK‘.

Which is not exactly the reaction you want at this price point.

Who I Think The Tiani Twist Wearable Vibrator Is For

I think the Tiani Twist will suit people who:

  • Prefer lighter clitoral stimulation
  • Enjoy teasing and prolonged wear
  • Want a discreet wearable toy for partner control
  • Find stronger toys overwhelming
  • Want something slimmer and less intrusive during sex

I do not think this is the ideal toy for people who:

  • Prefer strong vibrators
  • Love powerful clitoral suction toys
  • Need intense stimulation to orgasm
  • Want deep rumbly internal vibrations
  • Expect the intensity of something like a wand or Womanizer

Tiani Twist Review Summary

The Tiani Twist is discreet, comfortable, beautifully made and genuinely wearable in a way many app-controlled toys aren’t.

But for me personally, it just doesn’t have the power behind it that I’ve come to expect – and want – from LELO products.

I don’t think it’s a bad toy at all, I just think it’s aimed at a very different user than me. If you already know you enjoy lighter stimulation and subtle teasing toys, you may absolutely love it.

But if you’re somebody who usually gravitates towards stronger vibrators, wands or clitoral suction toys, I suspect you may end up feeling the same way I did: It’s pleasant, it’s pretty, it’s well designed…It’s just not quite enough. Thankfully, the LELO INA thrusting rabbit tested at the same time performed better for me!
