The One Suction Stroker Review: A First-Hand Test of This Air-Powered Male Masturbator

I’ll be honest. I didn’t really see the point of male sex toys for a long time. The basic argument against them is fairly obvious; you already have a hand. It’s convenient. It’s free. It’s been doing the job perfectly well since approximately 1997.

But suction masturbators are different and they promise something you simply can’t replicate manually. So when I got the chance to try The One Suction Stroker for review, I was curious to see whether it was genuinely better, or just an expensive gimmick.

The One Suction Stroker Review (UK): A First-Hand Test of This Air-Powered Male Masturbator

First Impressions of The One Suction Stroker (review)

OK so it isn’t as discreet as, say, the Arcwave Pow manual masturbator but it’s not shaped like a vagina either. You probably couldn’t leave it around and pass it off as a camera lens or a Bluetooth speaker, but it’s not explicit. It doesn’t necessarily scream ‘stick your dick in me’ from across the room. And it’s much, much smaller and lighter than something like the Autoblow AI Ultra blowjob machine or a Tantaly sex doll.

The translucent silicone sleeve is soft and smooth on the outside and textured on the inside, with a bullet vibrator on each side. Fortunately it doesn’t have that unpleasant rubbery smell cheaper toys often have.

It charges via the supplied magnetic USB charger, which is convenient, and the controls are pretty simple. No complicated setup, no instruction manual required beyond basic common sense.

Overall, it feels like an actual piece of tech rather than a novelty item.

Ease of Use

On using it for the first time, I noted that is quite a tight fit, and if you have a particularly girthy penis or foreskin that doesn’t fully retract then it might actually not work for you. It took me a few goes to get it in properly, using lots of water-based lube and stretching it out with my fingers – it wasn’t the easiest, but I got there in the end.

Lubricant is essential. Once everything is properly lubricated, the toy feels comfortable and natural to use. Without – it will hurt.

The controls are easy to reach and adjust mid-use, which is important because you will probably want to experiment with different settings.

It could potentially be used hands-free, if you’re in a good position and you want to thrust into it, but I recommend that you hold it to keep it in place over your erection and let it do the work!

It’s also fairly quiet. Not completely silent, but discreet enough that it isn’t going to sound like industrial machinery through a closed door. You’ll probably want to wait until your parents are out, though, as it’s quite a unique sound.

What Does The Suction Actually Feel Like?

While traditional strokers rely entirely on friction and manual movement, the One Suction Stroker uses air suction instead, which creates a pulsing sensation that feels very different; probably similar to the way an air pulse toy works for women.

This toy combines 15 modes of vibration, thrusting and suction. It probably doesn’t need that many to be honest, and it means that you have to cycle through them to get back to the one you like, but every sex toy seems to offer them whether you want them or not.

The best way I can describe the sensation it is that it builds gradually. The lower settings feel gentle and controlled, and as you increase the intensity, the suction becomes stronger and more rhythmic. It creates a consistent stimulation that would be difficult to replicate manually without your hand getting tired.

It also allows you to relax more, rather than focusing on maintaining the same speed and pressure yourself.

The higher settings are significantly more intense, and the ability to adjust the suction makes a big difference depending on your mood.

The first time I used it, the novelty of it meant that I came really quickly. The second time it took longer and was a little uncomfortable as the lube was drawn out of the sleeve by the suction. Stopping to add more kind of ruined the mood.

The resulting orgasms though? Very good.

Does the One Suction Stroker Feel Like a Blowjob?

The One Suction Stroker is supposed to deliver the sensations of oral sex, but does it?

Not really, no. It’s a nice sensation when you’re building up to come, and I found it possible to orgasm – but it’s not really comparable to the real thing. No one is passing up a blowjob for a suction stroker of one is on the table, but if it isn’t, it’s not a bad runner up.

Is It Actually Better Than Using Your Hand?

This is the real question.

He who is tired of wanking is tired of life, so the saying goes I believe – but I imagine we all think it would be nice to have a bit of variety and maybe a more hands-off orgasm now and again.

The suction in the machine creates a more consistent, controlled sensation that can feel more immersive than using your hand. It also requires less effort, which allows you to focus more on the experience rather than the mechanics.

It feels more like an upgrade than a replacement.

If you enjoy hand jobs but have a partner that frequently ends up giving up before you get there because of hand cramps (or perhaps boredom??) this could also be a solution. Just throwing it out there.

Is It Better Than A Manual Stroker?

I have to be honest here – not really. The vibrations do something but the suction isn’t really that much better than you can get from using The Fleshlight Masterstroke, Tenga Flip etc – and those options are much easier to clean after use.

Cleaning and Maintaining the One Suction Stroker

Cleaning out your stroker is probably the least glamorous part of the experience, but it is vital unless you want to end up throwing it away after one use.

This is often the part people worry about and I echo that concern.

On paper, it’s simple. Rinse the silicone sleeve out with warm water and toy cleaner, easy peasy. But because it’s got a hard plastic handle, you can’t completely submerge it so that makes it a little trickier.

I would say that this is really the worst bit about the toy.

Using it – good. Orgasm – great! Rinsing out my lubey spunk in the sink once the post nut clarity has hit – What am I doing with my life?

I didn’t feel like it was 100% clean even though I spent longer rinsing it than I did using it. I’ll probably give it a little rinse before I use it again.

The One Suction Male Masturbator (Automatic suction and vibration): Review

Who It’s Best For

This is a good option if you:

  • Want to try suction-based stimulation
  • Are curious about male sex toys but want something modern and discreet
  • Want a more immersive experience than manual stimulation
  • Value adjustable intensity and hands-free options

It’s especially good for beginners, because it’s easy to use and not intimidating.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Unique suction sensation, doesn’t feel like a blowjob but gives a nice sensation
  • Rechargeable and easy to use
  • Quiet and discreet
  • Can deliver a mindblowing orgasm if you’re in the mood, relaxed and using the right amount of water-based lube

Cons

  • Requires plenty of lubricant and can hurt without!
  • More expensive than basic strokers (and infinitely more expensive than your hand)
  • Cleaning it out afterwards is one hell of a comedown and you can’t shove it in the dishwasher (NB when you do do this with your used sex toys, don’t do it with your mum’s best china, maybe).
  • If you’re looking for something more immersive than a stroker, a torso doll like the Tantaly Britney 2.0 offers a much more realistic experience.

Final Verdict on The One Suction Stroker

The One Suction Stroker surprised me; the suction technology creates a genuinely different experience compared to manual stimulation, and the adjustable settings allow you to tailor the intensity.

It’s easy to use, well made, and fairly discreet. It loses points for being tricky to clean. I guess that’s the price you pay for an orgasm you don’t have to deliver entirely manually.

If you’ve never tried a suction stroker before, this is a good place to start; mid-range price but with good features.
