Remote control panty vibrators are one of the most fun categories of sex toys. They’re discreet, wearable and perfect for couples who like a little mischief when they’re out together.
(If this is you, read our guide to public sex play).
The Rocks Off Knickerbocker Glory Remote Controlled Panty Vibe is designed to sit inside your underwear while a partner controls the vibrations from a distance.

This is the one of several wearable vibrators we’ve tested. Previously we’ve reviewed the We-Vibe Unite (not great) and the We-Vibe Chorus (MUCH better) and the LELO Tiani Twist (nice but fairly light vibrations). We’ve also tried the very highly rated Lovense Ferri panty vibrator. These toys are, however, pretty expensive coming in at over £100, even in the sale. That’s a lot of money to lay down on something that you probably won’t use very often, even if you’re a rotten pervert like me.
The Knickerbocker Glory vibe from Rocks Off is cheaper – currently a mere £20! – and differs to the WeVibe and LELO remote control/app-controlled vibrators as it sits inside your underwear. That’s what keeps it in place; there is nothing that goes internally, and no magnet like the Ferri. For this reason you really need to have secure underwear – no flimsy g-strings here!
So the obvious question is: can a £20 panty vibrator actually compete with toys that cost over £150?
After testing it both at home and out in the wild, here is my honest Knickerbocker Glory review.

What Does It Do? Knickerbocker Glory Review
The Rocks Off Knickerbocker Glory Panty Vibrator is a small wearable vibrator designed to sit inside your underwear while being controlled remotely by your partner.
You can use it to deliver sensations to any part of the body, but it’s ultimately designed to sit discreetly in your underwear and stimulate the clit.

Made from body-safe silicone, it measures less than 8cm long and is a tiny 40g in weight. Looking a bit like a make up blender perhaps, don’t let its appearance fool you; it is ergonomically shaped to make comfortable contact with your clitoris and with ten different intensities and patterns, it is strong enough for you to more than notice it.
The vibe is pretty quiet so it is perfect for a bit of play outside the house in a busy area like a bar or pub.
How to Use The Rocks Off Knickerbocker Glory Panty Vibrator Safely
- Test it at at home first: Get used to how it feels, how loud it is, and how to control it. Think about which settings you prefer; this will help your partner when you’re out and about
- Charge it fully before heading out – both the toy and the remote. They are both charged by the same USB charger (included).
- As mentioned, you need a secure, comfortable pair of underwear that keeps the toy in place. It’s not a cheap bit of kit to risk losing!
- Make sure no parts are visible, even if you bend over or sit down.
Controlling It
- The Knickerbocky Glory Panty Vibe is really easy to control; it has one button to connect and then another to ramp up the sensations.
- You can make sure your partner has the control before you leave the house, or discreetly pass it to them when you’re out and about as a surprise (as long as they know what it is!).
- The remote control will work from across a room too, so you can be sat at a booth while your partner controls the fun from the bar area.

Knickerbocker Glory vs Lovense Ferri Panty Vibrator
If you’re looking at wearable panty vibrators, the most obvious comparison is probably the Lovense Ferri.
- Lovense Ferri – slim magnetic panty vibrator with app control, stronger connectivity and a much more polished long-distance experience. Designed specifically for discreet public play, it delivers very strong vibrations that can easily result in an orgasm.
- Knickerbocker Glory – fully external panty vibrator that sits inside your underwear. Simpler, cheaper and less intimidating, but also bulkier and more prone to shifting around. Vibrations are a little lighter, and less orgasmic on its own.

The Ferri is definitely the more refined toy overall. It feels more modern, the app makes it easy to control and your partner can control it from anywhere, so you’re never out of range as long as it’s connected to your phone. The magnetic clip design keeps it in place far more reliably when you’re actually moving around.
However, the Knickerbocker Glory costs significantly less, making it a much easier entry point if you’re curious about wearable toys but don’t want to spend £100+ straight away.
Also, not everyone wants app accounts, Bluetooth pairing and what feels like launching a tiny NASA mission every time they fancy an orgasm. Sometimes ‘stick it in your knickers and press go’ is perfectly adequate.
Pros and Cons of This Budget Panty Vibe
Pros
- Very affordable compared to other wearable vibrators
- Small and lightweight
- Easy to use remote control
- Whisper quiet
- Great entry-level toy for public play fantasies
Cons
- Relies on tight underwear to stay in place
- Not as powerful as premium wearable toys
- No app control or long-distance features

Final Verdict: Is the Knickerbocker Glory Worth It?
If you’re curious about panty vibrators but don’t want to spend over £100, the Knickerbocker Glory is a fun and affordable starting point.
It’s discreet, easy to use and surprisingly powerful for such a small toy. As long as you wear secure underwear to keep it in place, it can deliver some genuinely exciting moments when you’re out with your partner.
It won’t replace premium toys like the We-Vibe Chorus, but for the price it’s a playful little gadget that does exactly what it promises.
