Delivery was quick and discreet, and upon first inspection the product was clearly a high quality product with a nice feel – firm yet tactile, like a lot of silicone toys. The main body has a fairly substantial looking ‘shaft’ to go inside to find your prostate, with an extra part that stays outside and is meant to vibrate your perinium.
It came with a dual charger to allow both the main unit and controller to be charged at the same time, so I set it up charging and waited for some alone time.
Being a complete novice when it comes to anal toys at the time I was a bit nervous about how this would go, but I read some advice online; put a towel on bed, got lube and tissues to hand and laid on my back. I got myself in the mood the normal way, waited until I was pretty turned on, applied plenty of lube to by myself and the toy, and decided to give it a go.

The first thing I realised, was that gripping anything when you’ve put too much lube on the whole toy is a nightmare. So a bit of wiping and I tried again. As a first time inserting anything, it took a while, but I relaxed, persevered with slow pressure, and eventually the bulbous head found its way in. After that, the rest shot up fairly quickly and I really enjoyed the feeling of being full, as well as the pressure it was exerting in all sorts of places.
Unfortunately, it was only at this point I realised that turning the Mantric prostate massager on is a bit of a challenge.
You need to press the very small button on the main unit until it gives a little buzz, and then press the button the remote to cycle through various strengths and patterns. In all the time I’ve used it I’ve found that it doesn’t always connect first time to the remote, and in turning the unit on and off you can lose track of whether it’s actually on.
There’s a light on the bottom of the toy, but unless you’ve got a friend with you or you’re bendy enough to work as a contortionist for Cirque du Soleil, this isn’t really much use. The lesson here is to make sure the Mantric prostate vibrator/massager is on, and the remote connected, before you put it in.
That hurdle cleared, I finally got to experience prostate vibrations.
And I liked it, a lot. I’d read stories of people having orgasms from this alone, but this isn’t something I’ve ever managed – in fact if I just rely on the toy I tend to lose my erection even if I’m really enjoying it and feeling very turned on. But with a bit of conventional masturbation (or possibly other toys or a helping hand) this all felt really good.
With the Mantric prostate massagers’ remote controller you can change the power level, use different patterns, and switch between prostate, perinium or dual vibrations. Personally I settled on both at full power, but it’s good fun to play around and find what works for you.
After not too long, I had a very powerful orgasm, definitely stronger than I’ve ever managed on my own, and I’ve used this toy many times since, either alone or with a partner. It’s maybe a bit large for me to use in the heat of the moment without taking a pause to get it in, but once in, I find it very pleasurable.
