This Pixey Deluxe Magic Wand (rechargeable, wireless massager/vibrator) review is honest and unbiased. We only review toys we really own. May contain affiliate links, read more here. This review is currently waiting for images, please check back!
A magic wand/massager vibrator is the ultimate couple’s sex toy and a must-have for any sex toy collection. The good ones are extremely powerful, and can be used during sex to give mind blowing orgasms. They’re easy to grip and, due to the size, they never miss the spot. The Hitachi Magic Wand was of course the original ‘massage wand’ but now there are loads of others on the market and as always, they vary massively in price and quality. Fortunately yours truly is always happy to test and review new sex toys!

Mains Powered Magic Wands
The Lovehoney mains powered magic wand is extremely popular. At around £50 full price (and often on sale), it offers good value for money and is a great purchase if you happen to have a plug socket near your bed. You can read a review of this magic wand here.
But what about if you’re travelling, or want something more flexible? A magic wand vibrator that is rechargeable could be what you’re looking for!
Rechargeable magic wands are available, but some can be a little disappointing with very little power behind them. It definitely pays to read the reviews before you invest.
Magic wand: Pixey Deluxe Rechargeable Wireless Massager/Vibrator Review
The Pixey Deluxe magic wand a rechargeable and wireless vibrator with many a great review. When we bought ours a little over a year ago, it was unavailable to buy in the UK and had to be imported from the EU. Now you can buy it from Amazon Prime and cost under £100 at the point this post was written and can be delivered the next day.
It comes with a 2.5m long charging cable which can be charged from a USB socket.

The Pixey Deluxe vibrator claims to be the world’s most powerful wireless massage wand. It’s big, and it offers 5 vibration speeds and 5 patters. It has a TPE silicone head which is body safe and easy to clean.
It looks pretty sleek with its silver and black casing, but is it any good?
I’ve tried to summarise the pros and cons of the Pixey Deluxe Magic Wand massager/vibrator so you can decide if it’s for you!
Pros of the Pixey Deluxe Rechargeable Wireless Magic Wand

- This magic wand vibrator is powerful, more powerful even than the Lovehoney mains powered magic wand. It vibrates at up to 12000RPM which is A LOT. It doesn’t have to go up that high; there are 5 different vibration settings.
- The battery takes about 2-3 hours to charge, and then lasts for ages (around 40 minutes) but even if it does run our mid-session, you can use the Pixey magic wand while it’s charging.
- Due to the lack of wires, it can be used easily for shibari/bondage magic wand play.
- You don’t need to near a plug socket so it can be used anywhere.
- It’s easy to clean – although the head has bumps on it, there are no deep ridges or bumps to clean lube and bodily fluids out of, like some other magic wands which let’s face it, isn’t the most glamorous part of the process.
- Ideal for travelling (but use the travel lock)
Cons of the Pixey Deluxe Rechargeable Wireless Magic Wand

- It’s a fairly heavy piece of kit (weighs 455g) and at over 30cm long it’s not something you can hide in your handbag.
- This vibrator isn’t waterproof – this magic wand is definitely not one for using in the bath! Try something like the LELO Switch magic wand instead.
- There are three buttons (on/off/change pattern, intensity up and down) rather than a sliding on/off switch, and these can be tricky to press in the heat of the moment. There is nothing worse than almost getting there, going to turn the vibrations up or down slightly and accidentally changing the pulse mode/patter- you then have to scroll through five more times before you’re back to where you started. Personally I don’t get the lure of pulse modes, so it feels like a waste for me.
- It isn’t particularly quiet. It’s not something you’re going to use while the kids are sleeping in the room next door – but with the noises you’ll make I doubt the buzzing will be much of a worry.
- As far as I can work out, it doesn’t have a travel lock. This means it might turn on in your bag, which can be REALLY embarrassing when you’re queuing to collect your luggage at the airport and you can hear your suitcase vibrating down the baggage carousel.
- On the highest setting, the head can ‘spin’ around which I don’t think it supposed to happen. Also, if used a lot, it can get HOT. So maybe don’t use it for too long, on too high a setting.
- You might come so hard you can’t go on afterwards. Or speak.
Would I recommend the Pixey Deluxe Magic Wand (rechargeable, wireless)?
If you don’t already have a magic wand then this rechargeable version is portable while also being super powerful and giving immense orgasms. Just be careful not to overheat it, and maybe if you’re travelling then travel with it on an empty charge!
